I was there 2 weeks ago helping my Dad who lives just out of town. the ground was so wet then you couldn't drive a tractor over a paddock without tearing it up and getting bogged. To see things the way they are now is heart breaking. I can't get to my father atm but luckily he is on high ground. When I can later in the week I'm getting him out of there weather he likes it or not. Thanks for the footage. It's very telling of the real situation the media do not report.
I don't think Cundletown was too badly affected by the floods then, although the Dawson River Bridge connecting Cundletown to Taree was underwater for a bit. My school is in Cundletown and I wasn't able to go for a week or so.
