Coming from a former Target employee, Dulce did nothing wrong. The cashier is too blame, she was too lazy to get a price or whatever she had to do. Girl you go rock those heels!!! Also, as a frequent Target shopper there's been times where I wasn't charged for something I initially went out to buy. It's not purposely done, its an honest mistake. Just take it has a gift from the universe.

Ok she didn't steal them or whatever, but at the same time just cause a cashier is tired or wouldn't scan them, it doesn't excuse the fact to stand up for whats right. Just like anything wrong that happens in front of you. You don't stand there and go along with it. Im not hating on her or anything. But don't solely blame the cashier. You as an adult can speak up.

I think it's funny all the people discussing over a pair of shoes and reminding her about her younger audience. First of all she is just a RU-vidr, she is not an educator. Is the parents responsibility to educate and become a positive role model. That is not her job to educate and she never claimed she was a role model. And for the shoes she gave them to the cashier, if the cashier didn't do the job if giving the correct price that is not her fault .

Every one needs to chill out. I see everyone complaining saying she buys to much stuff blah blah blah. Its HER money. NOT yours. She can do whatever she wants. Its part of her job to buy stuff and talk about it with us. She enjoys doing that and she's getting paid to do that. You aren't getting paid to sit and complain on every video she does. So shut up :)

If buying stuff is her "job", I don't know should I cry or laugh. Why she doesn't do something what matters, like telling about important stuff like(animal testing, animal abusing)? When somebody consume that much, it's not good even for the planet

Watched this video after reading some comments on instagram about her stealing a pair of shoes. Was ready to comment about how it was wrong. Glad I watched the video before commenting, I don't think she technically stole the shoes. Stealing would be intentionally planning to not pay and try to get away with it. She had the full intention to pay for the shoes it's just that the cashier didn't really do her job very well. She could've completely left out that part of the story but she didn't. Which honestly kinda makes me think she really treats us as friends to tell us things like that. That's all I have to say.

OMG thank you for posting this! These people are SO judgmental, and these 'moms' letting their 14 yr old girls watch YT for 'mentoring' should be smacked. Why are we letting social media and TV raise children?! She said the cashier forgot, she never said that she took them and shoved them in her purse. Thank you for not being like many of these people on here!

Holy crap, that is morally SO wrong to just take those shoes fully aware that the girl didn't actually scan them. It's mind boggling and sad how so many people think it's perfectly fine to do such a thing "because it's the cashier's own fault". Shaking my head. My mama taught me better than that...

I agree. I once went to H&M and the cashier put everything in a bag but forgot to ask me to pay for it. She was already saying 'have a good day' when I asked her if 'I should pay for it, don't you think?' I could've got away with not paying the 90 euro but it would have bothered me for a long time. It's just bad karma.

Hey :) so I know that company policy in Target says that you have $20 leeway with customers. Meaning that if the cashier is trying to scan something but having trouble they can use their judgment based on the "customer traffic" of the day to either discount the item or even not charge for it. For ex: if Dulce was spending $300 in total and the $20 shoes were not scanning and the cashiers line was extremely long, the cashier is allowed a $20 discount leeway. This policy isn't really used too often only when the cashier deems it necessary. Hope this helped!

It's her fault because the cashier is careless...? I would've left and said "thanks for the free shoes girl!" I went into Target one time to pick up some room decor stuff and the comforter rang up wrong and she forgot a photo frame. I wasn't about to correct her and pay more money. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that she didn't ring up the frame. No way was i making another trip out. It's not like she STOLE it, the cashier simply gave them away.

Dulce you gave me such a great idea about a background because not having a background I love has stopped me from starting my channel. Ok perfect people out there judging about the whole shoe "stealing" thing, target does have a policy where they can waive a product under special circumstances (long lines, defective, etc). That's most likely what the cashier did since they were only 20$ shoes, compared to her probably over 200$ purchase. It wasn't scanning, there's a huge line, the cashier made the judgment call under target policy to waive it. So seriously stop acting high and mighty. If your free of sin, then go ahead and cast the first stone. Otherwise, just shut up already.....so that means EVERYONE can just calm down.

U do know that's Still considered stealing!!! No matter how tired she is you should of waited and payed for them after words! You should of kept that free pair of heels to yourself !!! You know it's not right to just take something if you didn't pay for it ! Like you said you are making videos for younger girls and it's not okay to promote to take free things from a store when they are not payed for !!! As a current Target employee (loss prevention/ assets protection) I personally don't think Dulce meant any harm, although if I was in that situation and I know I have been, I just don't feel right not paying for something when I should. As for the cashier, what a poor job she did. I've personally fired team members for those exact reasons. Whether this was to avoid her line getting any longer or not, you just don't hand the items for free. Dulce did not sign up to be anyone's "role model" but in the end I'd fire that cashier myself!

If you take something from a store without paying for it- it is stealing. It doesn't matter if it was on purpose or an accident- it's stealing. The lack of morals and values in today's society is sad. Clearly it's not her fault, but it's still stealing. She was basically an accomplice with the target employee in theft. As an adult, When you know something is wrong you don't go along with it. I don't think she's a bad person, I like her and I enjoy her videos. But let's not pretend we all don't know right from wrong and defend stealing.

So I'm fairly good at applying makeup and could def do my own for prom but I'm wondering what your opinion is...should i get my makeup done at macy's (if so what booth do you recommend) or should i just do my own makeup? keep in mind im horrible at applying lashes and normally wear tinted moisturizer and powder just cuz my skin is fairly clear but for prom i kinda want more of a flawless finish haha ahh idk just lmk what you think! Bali smelled so good...my husband usually could care less about candles but he has been lighting that one everyday...I also love the red velvet...I got the blood orange one but it smells more like grapefruit...I love anything citrus but if you don't then stay away from that one ;)

I work at target as a cashier and if the item doesn't have a barcode a manager will ask the customer how much it was if the line is long. Clearly she spent a good $300 or more so 20 bucks isn't a big deal

If target send you those shoes that would be free. A cashier being too tired or lazing knowingly didn't charge you and you know she didn't that is stealing. I would think at your age you would know the difference. What kind a example are you setting? Disappointed

It's more the fault of the cashier than hers. I don't know about Target, but most stores I've worked in have had an option to manually enter a price under a department key if it didn't scan properly. The price was right on the shoes, so it's not like there was a discrepancy there. The cashier was just too lazy to do her job. Personally, I have mega OCD and am always obsessing with karmic debt, so I would see to it that I paid for the shoes to avoid falling in them and busting my ass bone or something terrible happening to me lol.

Okay I read the comments saying she is a thief before I saw the video. After watching the video clearly, the cashier knew the shoes were not scanning and Dulce told her that. It is not like the cashier accidentally put them in the bag and Dulce just let her. So calm down people. I worked at forever 21 and sometimes when things won't scan, we just let the customer have it. I am sure Target won't shut down for 20 dollars. Stop spreading hate!

Maybe you should have kept the story about the shoes to yourself lol It has happened to me before though. I was buying a planner and the girl said "I'll just give this to you" and winked. I was so excited that this nice employee just gave me a free planner and after thinking about it, I realized that she had allowed me to walk out of the store without paying for the merchandise which is actually stealing :/ It's not about the hurting the company as some people are saying, it's really about the principle of it.

Dulce you should not share certain things it just gives people the idea that they could judge "talk sheit" all the time I swear people can't just watch a video without meaking a big freaking deal about certain things smh
