Haven’t watched too many reviews lately but this is top quality! Even more so than i remember. The super close up gives you everything you need to know

Although a nice looking dart , In my personal opinion £109.95 is a bit OTT for darts regardless of the name behind them, especially if they start loosing the coating after an hour's use ... Not for me thanks very much but as I say that's just my opinion other folk maybe happy paying that price.. each to their own I suppose. Again good informative review Darren keep up the good work mate🎯💯%👍🏻

I agree the price will be a big problem for many, I have done that discussion to death over the years though in great depth on the forum so in the end its up to the people to vote with their wallets, if they keep paying the prices then they will keep selling them at such a price. Think there is a bit more involved than just simply that but it is what it is I guess, always plenty of great value sets out there still though :)

@@DartsReviewChannel yeah mate I totally agree with you , you get what you pay for it's all down to personal preference , that's why I find your channel a great platform for your opinion on all sorts of darts at various price ranges and have in fact purchased a few sets of darts on your reviews at the lower price range and have been delighted with them . Stunning looking darts and that grip in the middle will be in the perfect position for my throw. I’d possibly have to change the flights to my own set up. Excellent review, thought you were getting that third bull there Darren 👍🏻🎯

I am waiting to hear about this as well. I play 1-2 hours a day, plus a few people over for a dart night once a month, so not as much use as others, but I still want a board that will last. I will go with the Gladiator 3+ or the Aspar...I really like the clean look of the Aspar, hopefully it will hold up.

@@joehodgson9595 I used to play about 3 hours a day but after a few injuries I have too many arches and pains so lucky to get 45 mins usually then depending what aches may need to stop for a week or two which is frustrating.

Great review on these Darren. Your right on the looks but by...... am I unable to throw these. The Flight resembles an aerobatic display using my throw. Good to see you can control them ;)

Premium player, premium review 👍way beyond my range & probably every 3rd comment would reiterate the same sentiments. Nonetheless, great review. Target professional team does an amazing job at every end of dart..its work of art..also, you've taken macro close-up for reviewing this. Honestly, you've got x-factor going for the dimensions, COG/BAC & weights check that you do, grip sections✌️these are very good & treat to watch.. especially for a beginner like me.. Phil Taylor has taken retirement from professional darts but the aura lingers.. ..& it's going to stay for some years.. It will be a tribute to Phil when an top ranking players, actually uses in an tournament .. these darts.. who knows.. Peter Wright? Someday.. Threw them in a store today. Threw a $60 Fordham pair afterwards much better. Not for everyone but I did like the feel.

All same style of barrel shape more or less based from the John Lowe darts, the matt coating on the Taylors is a nice feel but as I shown it will wear and for the price its too much certainly.

I have two sets from previous versions and love them, they take some getting used to though but once you do, they are great. I’m blown away by the point switching system. I need these. But $$$

Yeah they do take a bit of time to get the hang of, especially with those tiny flights :)

@@DartsReviewChannel I initially replaced the flights with a slightly bigger set of Cosmos but it completely changes the look of the darts so I switched back and got used to them. I find you have to throw a bit harder and they do land tail down, the way Phil Taylor likes them. I think I have gen 4 and 5 so some catching up to do but someone might have something to say about that. She has seen my darts collection.

I have this in 22g. I just can't get on with the original teeny tiny flight. Gave them a try using the stock setup and they always land tail down no matter how i throw them. Quickly swapped it for kite flights. 😅

I would try these if there was a non-swiss version. Will Target ever go back? The G5s with black smooth storm points are still my favorite darts.

Seems they are sticking with the Swiss points, not a big fan of them myself but think they are better than when they first came out as hearing people are happy with them after a long time, still happy enough with normal points myself though.

I'm happy with my Swiss point darts, no problems so far and you can switch them if the old points are worn out.

The points stick in really hard with these don't they. Makes them hard and slow to remove. Also one of the points snapped on one of my sons previous edition of these. It's interesting how Phil Taylor went from using slim barrel darts to these torpedo shaped darts.

Not sure its that new, forget when they first started but I really like the feel of it, almost has an absorbant dry sensation if that makes sense :)

That dimple grip is the same or similar to the grip on the bunting darts.my match dart in 12gram.

similar but I think its finer on the Taylor G8 and also the pvd and sandblast coating makes it feel a little different

I really want to like these darts because they’re so nice looking, but I just can’t get by how chunky they are. Kudos to Phil on how tight his groupings are, but I’ll bet he gets his darts for free and he can beat the crap out of them. I would still love to try them though, just not at $150; great review as usual.

I think they look more chunky than they are, its still a thick dart but even I got two in the bull so it can work if throw well lol Price is the main issue for sure. Cheers :)

I have The Taylor darts. They are great. Only issue I have with them is the bloody flights(as the guy in the vid has pointed out as well) are dreadful and too small.

yes I am not a fan of the tiny flights, with a lot of practice you can get your darts flying better with them but for me its far too much effort to put into it so prefer a more sensible easier to throw flight lol :)

@@DartsReviewChannel I used to throw with nothing but standards but struggling with my grip & find I can't propel the dart hard enough & larger flights increase the drag. Find myself experimenting with smaller & smaller flights: Great when you get the throw just right but land at all kinds of angles when you get it wrong!

@@brianhutchison1788 I understand that too, sometimes my power is not there and I think a smaller flight would give a little more speed to help but its just getting used to it I guess, think I find the smaller flights need a smoother throw/release which I seem to struggle with more :)

I just wish target would do a cosmo stem. I couldn't buy enough of the ends if I used them and the swiss points are a irrevocably flawed design. He should do a special without either and it would sell like crazy. Call it a classic.

Finally the taylor dart got actual changes and a big upgrade imo. Really like them but 110 pounds is not soneghing everybidy can afford

tough one, both nice darts in their own way so not a lot to choose between them the make one a stand out above the other, think it just goes by what you think will suit you best in the end.

Yeah price is the main issue and a lot dont like spending more than around £40 so can understand that :) Still lots of decent darts £25 or less though :)

The day I ever think about spending 109 for a set of darts is the day they need to take me away and lock me up. And to be honest the darts don’t look good either.
