Hi Andy. As Matt mentioned the shot and shotting pattern controls the fall of the bait, If you use a Olivette the bait would fall quicker. Matt wanted a slower fall through the water.

@@mainlinematchfishingtv2921 Hi Matt thanks, I use tulip and sock already but your pole when back on roller was well high away from your sock etc that’s was what I looking for how you stop your pole moving forward when on roller at such a steep angle down the bank . Mine would of ended up in lake at such and angle being so high above the sock etc 👍

@@Rob-di7uu The bank was on a slope so only one roller was used and when the pole was shipped back it lifted up as it went beyond the roller. Nothing special.
