Yes Bob, I've been around the horn playing many other organs besides Hammond, but Hammond tone wheel based organs are my proverbial V.W./Porsche of the collection. However I must sincerely give a very honorable mention to Wurlitzer, Gulbransen, and Conn for their incredible designs.Wurli' began their electronic phase after the pipe organ factory was altered for the WWII effort. The electrostatic reed organ,like Hammond TW was an electromechanical design producing sweet overtones until 61', SAVE!

Gee whiz that 1935 Hammond A must really be one of the very first original organs manufactured, since it also has the signatures on it! As a real Hammond passionate teenager i would give anything to wake up tomorrow and find that very instrument in my living room...
