Tariq Nasheed discusses race, racism, and history within the United States. African Americans not voting until a candidate actually does something for them and how blacks can gain power. #BreakfastClub
Educate yourself. School history is FAKE HISTORY. Literally over 90% of what school teaches you about history is false. Schools have to go by what the government tells them to teach in other words WHITE HISTORY and what is white history? FAKE HISTORY
"Black people died for the right to vote," Envy gone run his Ass to that voting booth. Tariq was dropping that heat. When you mention Hidden Colors make sure you put some respeck on it.
Id rather them ask these "dumb" questions in front of tariq instead of looking to the media or these trash ass rappers tho. There's a lot of misguided people not just blacks that need concrete answers to questions like this
Damn the Breakfast Club is really "about that action." Tariq on the show wow! Its about time. These rappers have been draining these kids minds, we need dudes like this.
I want to see this too.. Just appear every once in a while but idk if he will.. Also would like to see Candace try to debate Tariq, The Professor Black, Jason Black, and Dr Umar..
shout to the wise brother tariq, he dropped so much knowledge, my mom thought I was talking crazy few days ago with this conscious stuff & now she see this guy talking that same deep shit as me... keep waking em up brother!! we been sleep too long
I'm white and I am shaking my head at why, 21 savage got 3 million views on the breakfast club, but this intelligent and truthful brother can't get over 1 million
not even 500K and this was back in april.... 21 savage was not even that long ago and got 3 million already, smh this interview needs to have 5 million views already. but I guess people rather watch someone like 21 savage than watch a man like this speak.
+itsdastuff U missed his point completely. When blk ppl kill white ppl, they get punished. But white ppl can kill blk ppl with impunity. Black racism & white racism are not the same.
As a Brotha from Washington D.C., I just wanted to stop in and add......Yo, I never knew......TARIQ NASHEED, WAS SO "CONSCIOUS" & "AWARE", THIS BROTHA IS "BLESSED" WITH GAME !!!!!!!!!!! ( ✊👑👽Pure truth/Knowledge👽👑✊)
He made a good point addressing the fact that we(blacks) tend to vote out of fear, without any political understanding. The groupthink has led to people just voting for someone because they appear to be for the black people.
He heard that from dr Umar Johnson. I don’t have a problem with him reiterating a lot of Dr. umar Johnson’s intellectual property. I have a problem with Tariq Nasheed not giving him the credit

THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM BLACK AMERICA !1 --> soundcloud.com/flizo201/young-flizo-a-message-to-black-america-black-dreamer SPREAD THE WORD !! MAKE IT GO VIRAL !!!
Flower Have you watched his “documentaries”? He is peddling conspiracy theories on par with ancient alien nonsense. Did you not go to school? Do you have no capacity to differentiate fact from fiction?
Evolved Ape I am listening to him today for the first time and everything he is saying is reality. You do not have to insult me because I agree with some one you do not like. Relax, we are just texting our opinions it is not a bill of rights that will affect the country. Chill
+DUCKNELO ALVAREZ look you really need to stop with the racist stuff because lord knows you are only showing your racism because you're behind a computer.
My dude Tariq onece again kept it real and direct with the game of life! Even when they slick threw in the coin questions about black on black crime, he stuck to the total problem at hand..The whole voting issue messed them up for real. What he was saying simply was, why vote for anyone who is not going to do anything for you or try to stop injustice from happening to your people! And since we are in the habit of spending not saving and investing in us as a whole then we can't buy any favors from whoever is running for office.. But overall this interview was good as hell! Our heritage was addressed as well as plans or possible moves to become better as a people! Very good job Breakfast Club, yall kept it real as usual..
@steak Johnson that was 3 years ago I since changed my mind. I am a P.A. I value education while your here commenting on 3 yr old posts I'm fighting for our lives against Covid 19
sweetvictory89 yeah whatever, they only say that to get information from us and be with us until bad things go down. They ain't fooling me, They might fool a lot of these naive blacks but they defiantly don't fool a real black person like me. Because black people all we have to do is live for ourselves, our family, & our ancestors basically. Everyone else are irrelevant to us really because we wouldn't have anything to talk about. We really don't need friends from the outside. They're heart is not with us.
@@imjsanyumad3432 probably in good way all depends though. But for me its was an wake up call. Our ancestors history was taken away from us. Alot of shit man.... hidden colors would explain SOME.
Real talk: this last string of interviews with actual thinking humans is miles ahead of the ignorant interviews with mediocre "artists." PLEASE keep content like this coming. much better dialogue
You can't even have an intelligent conversation with him. I feel his brain leakes when they talk about educative stuff on the show. He just proud of his own stupidity
2 years later sis we definitely are waking up! Slowly but surely. We need to read and educate ourselves of our African history before slavery to know our greatness! That's what the youth is lacking. We must learn our true roots in order to press forward.
@@imjsanyumad3432 I'm not even going to engage you and that cult you belong to lol. Nice try but keep that black Israelite mess away from me. Faaaar away. Thanks. Bye bye now 👋👋👋
The system is gonna pull the black people in power another way its gonna take courage and a strong mind and connection to the black people to stay true and committed and at that level there surrounded by another group of people.
***** Tariq says its possible. We just need to unify - fight injustices (not just protest/ march/ talk) - educate ourselves -- keep our money in our community (get back to a black wallstreet mentality) -- respect our elders -- take care of our households -- etc... Im hopeful. Its possible. What do you think?
I completely agree with his assessment on symbolic victories.Putting Harriet on the $20 gets us as a collective group no closer to becoming economically self sufficient
I love how da homie Tariq turns off and on the ratchet when needed. Homie can get very articulate and proper on these type of shows..I rock wit his ratchet shit tho lol
+DUCKNELO ALVAREZ your an idiot. When he makes you go back to mexico we will see if that's still your opinion. please learn politics before making ignorant comments
when cheating and affairs came up, ole envy stayed mighty quiet. But I could also tell Tariq was going in on subjects that just went over their heads. Good interview. Claude Anderson will shut it down though.
notice how Angela Yee barely had much input in this interview? Feels like whenever there is a guest that brings something educational, conscious or intellectual she just fades in the background.
I noticed that too. See these types of conversations require the use of your brain, which she doesn't often. She only contributes to relationship gossip & dusty behavior.
@claude maluma ## But you know what... i give Angela credit for staying quiet and knowing her lane. nothing is more worse than when you have someone who is limited educationally, open up their mouth and make a complete ass of themselves.
Dame dash was talking about the same economic empowerment a year ago. People was looking at him like he was crazy. Now it seems people are getting the message.
imani jacobs Right. My homie invited me to his house to watch it, because we were at church talking about Christianity and shit. Well it safe to say I'm no longer a Christian. It open my mind to a lot shit and had me researching and discovering things for myself and who we were before slavery.
I love this interview...I would love to say I love listening to & watching the breakfast club.. What I do hate is the fact that u don't hear Lauren hill & all the uplifting songs regardless of how old they are on a regular basis. All we hear is a bunch of young thug & etc. over & over & it sucks. Nothing against those people on a personal level. Just saying those heavy rotation plays a big part in how a lot of people act. But our side of that great work.. You guys are our voice🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
+Desmond Barton I agree 100% the music is flat out terrible now. I actually have an album out at www.Tahmar.bandcamp.com and have a song called Hidden Colors
