I just love her accent to pieces... and I can relate about cleaning, I am a cleaning addict more or less and it does relax me after a week of work, headphones on and you just space out. I recognized she said Nightwish twice after a long long time ah ah. Overall she is just a very intelligent, captivating and funny as hell woman. I really hope she takes more time to herself though, she needs more alone time and rest. Thanks for the questions!
Tarja, you are a wonderful person. I can not use other words to discribe you. Actually, I can but in Portuguese: "você é uma fofa!". In Brazil we offten use these words to compliment wonderful persons.
Good question selection. I've seen her live 4 times and can't get enough of it. Great performer overall. I've finally met her when she stopped by Brasilia this month. What a great woman. Love you, Tarja!
I've been listening Tarja's after Nightwish career songs last few days, only heard a fraction so far, but awesome songs! "I Walk Alone," "Falling Awake," "Victim of Ritual," "An Empty Dream" and "Until My Last Breath" are some of those. Glad she continued metal and metal opera too. And I would love to go Savonlinna opera festivals to see Tarja singing opera there again!

I really understand her wanting to be at home, solitude, at peace. I really the same thing. After work, after a hectic day, I like quiet time at home to wind down. My wife and I are both your fans, and we're 66 and 67. The first thing I heard her on was a song on the last Nightwish studio album on Internet "radio", and I've been collecting her albums ever since. Tarja, your voice broke through all the other hard rock metal out there, and really made me take notice. I just hope I can make it if you ever come to my area again (I'm in the US). I'm a couple of hours from Baltimore, but couldn't make it. It really surprised me that you came to the US to perform; I can certainly understand why you might not like to. I could really see your love for the fans in my DVDs and BluRay of Act I, and I really like that. I can tell you love your fans and who you are performing for. I also love music, but circumstances have kept me from making it the main thing I do for a job. I played locally when I was in my mid 20s, but ended up working computer jobs because I had a knack and it paid. Now that I am basically retired, I love to practice music.I mainly play bass, but can fill in on many guitar parts, drums, and a little keyboards. I've been setting up so I can record my music in my home. I started playing drums, but after hearing Chris Squire, Greg Lake, Geddy Lee and some other bass players, I went for the bass. We love your voice and singing.
My wife and I both hear a lot of similarities between Metal, Opera, folk and Classical. The best of these often have shared attributes with each other. When my wife thought she hated Metal, I played here some Iron Maiden and she thought it was very much like sped up Irish ballads. I miss that she performed near here, and I couldn't make it :(
