Tarja - Supremacy (live) reaction 

Tarja is a genius. ❤ I saw her many times live on stage, she is absolutely stunning. And her show... is amazing, it's like a theatrical performance, she is involving the audience all the time, making people jump and scream and sing like crazy. Awesome.

Shes a wonderful singer this high extension with the dark of her voice it's insane!!!! I'm love of her covers!

Awesome unpredictable reaction. Some people dislike her, but it's no matter. No one of them were on her live perfomances. I adore Floor, but Tarja always in my heart. when i heard Supremacy live (Moscow 2017), my hair was on end literally! I look around at people with the face like "Whaat? Did you hear, omg?!" That was amazing, guys i swear

Tarja ( Taa-rr-ee-a) has been solo since 2007. She helped found Nightwish in 1996. Left in 05. She has been very very busy. Albums, tours, festivals, TV, family ( mother to Naomi age 10), wife. Producer, label owner. Used the lock down to write an autobiography Singing in my blood. This was recorded in Poland at what was called Woodstock. Until a complaint from New York's own Woodstock. (2016). Now called Masters of Rock. She ends trying a bit of polish. She is also a polygot. Can speak Finnish, English, German, Italian, and Spanish. Her husband Marcello is from Argentina. The band has 3 guitarists, a drummer, keyboards and a Cellist. ( cello player). The cover is of a male fronted band called Muse. I would dare anyone not knowing whose version was the original to guess which was which. Also yes Tar-gasm is a term I have seen. See the young lady front row at end of an era in Helsinki Finland October 21, 2005. Her reaction is what a tar-gasm is all about!

Tarja has been playing solo since 2007. She has already released lots of albums and 2 dvds, you should check it :) I agree with most people here, this is not the better version live of supremacy, hellfest and act 2 are better :) Great react man!

In the spoken intro, I noticed one of those "Freudian" pauses: "I want to explore her...vocals!" (well, whichever he meant, I don't blame him!) A performance like this reinforces my impression that, compositionally, she'll probably get more "metal" and less "symphonic" in future, because, with the passing of time, her voice has gotten rawer and more imprecise...but her range is intact!

Tarja was going to leave Nightwish and start a solo career before they fired her. So she has had a solo career since then. Was she trying to change her image here? The opera is her. But I am not used to hearing her lower notes. I like Tarja, but I am sorry Floor is still better to me.

Like a few others sayed, this is probly her worst performance of Supremacy. She sounds off-key in a few spots, and is straining a litle. You shuld have picked her 2018 Milan verzion to react to, that one is top-notch. Non the less, nice react! And yes, Tarja still rules the roost vhen it comes to female vocalists. Floor has not changed that.

I do like her chest voice. Too bad she only trained it properly after her Nightwish years.

It's a cover. The original is from Muse. Their singer can go really high too. As far as Tarja's version: I don't like it. She sounds off tune at the start of the song imo. ( and I really like the original version, haha)

Maybe there's something wrong with me, but I find this quite terrible. If you listen carefully, you'll notice her singing false several times, especially when using chest voice.
