When asked what nationality he feels himself from, his eyes shine brightly and he answers (Turkish, I have it in my blood.. I am Turkish..) Being a Turk has its costs. you could be an Elvis or MJ But because you are Turkish.. you are the megastar of only us, the Turkish nation. We're proud of you Tarkan 🤍
@@laura-fw6gm it wasn't meant to be informative, it was meant to be criticising. And dont mind me, I love Tarkans singing, its just a bit ironic that the song that made him famous wasn't even made by him.
Sorry, my mistake. :) But why does it matter? He could´ve fallen off after it, but he didn´t. He proved that he can survive without Sezen as well, with his own songs.
@@laura-fw6gm true that. And arguably, he did have success like with his album Dudu. But I feel that as soon as he left sezen, he wasn't making aongs like Simarik or sikidum or kuzu kuzu anymore. The catchy pop era ended with his relationship with Sezen, unfortunately.
I think you´re right with that. But I really enjoy his songs, with or without Sezen. I LOVE Öp, for example it´s not as catchy as Simarik, or sikidim, but it´s still a great song. And I even admit, that I like DUDU more than Simarik. But there hasn´t been anything like this ever since. He´s still great, tho. I loved his english album as well, it´s far from his turkish songs, but start the fire, or bounce are catchy too.
