Tarkov Arena FIRST TOURNAMENT - Ascend vs ITB Highlights

People are so impatient, I'd rather have a working game launch than a broken one. Plus if they launched it broken people would complain more than they already are.

@@Romey1son Considering you're watching a Tournament for the game in question, and release is supposedly in only a few days it's unlikely for last minute changes unless extremely minor.. and you know.. considering Tarkov already exists and this is only static loadouts on arena maps, what's changing..?

Yeah how about they finish their first game instead of putting out a crappy arena game when we have 5 others that do it better.

This is obviously a native render in spectator mode. They are running max settings, and with streaming set to max so that the spectator can seamlessly switch between points as you can see.

why was there server issues then lmao

Tournaments are always on private, local servers regardless.

It’s the issue of having 10 Damn players but only focusing on 1 at a time or max 2 at a time. And then trying to do it live as opposed to having a tech/production team that reviews the footage at a delayed watching time so that they can actually give you the povs of the people who aren’t just hitting the ground. Bsg knows that no matter what they do or how shitty their events are, they are still gonna make more money than ever souly bc games rn are incredibly boring and stale

Not having a caster camera for an esport on day 1 is wild

still dreaming bro, maybe to Arena but not to Tarkov really. Much new people know about the bugs, hackers problem, dsync and optimization problems. and BSG can't still using the flag of beta to dont fix anything and delay Unity migration

You have to unlock the better kits by lvling up your account, the teams probably didn't have access to many kits for them to choose from.

@@MrSnrSquishy im gonna go out on a limb and assume for a tournament meant to show off the game they'd have access to all kits, or at least a good mix of them.

Yeah these guys are obviously talented but they also are obviously not used to tarkov gameplay. What I'd give to have this tournament again but with landmark, shroud, trey, willerz, etc. etc.

That's fine, I enjoy the challenge. I don't even use EOD so I'm already at a disadvantage. The game would get boring "to me" otherwise. I don't like games being too easy. The problem with arena for me specifically is that it is too much like CoD which is one of the things I liked about Tarkov. Too each their own.

Lmao, you don't have to put 1000+ hours in EFT to play and enjoy arena, there's even a PvE mode so you can get familiar with the mecanics, it's a game like any other, you just have to learn it, being "eaten alive" happens to any newbie in any PvP game, stop trying to make the game looks harder than it is

@@aydenolsen3624 arena is coming out in waves. For the first month or two, the only ones playing arena are the ones that purchased EOD fucking years ago. No “new player” will even get the opportunity to play arena while it’s new and hype.

Well, Arena is even worse optimized, recoil control is character linked and not skill based. Maps are the size of a small wall mart.

Would you prefer everyone runs the meta ammo and attachments instead? That’s the point of the load outs, it’s for balancing. Besides we’re supposed to be able to bring load outs from the base game into arena, and the matchmaking is supposed to assign value to what you bring and match you with others running high end stuff.

@@mosin9349 yea it should be the highest tier of everything because then you have the ability to use and practice with that gear without getting one tapped 20 seconds into a raid and losing all the money. I love Tarkov and sometimes I wanna just shoot stuff without needing to manage money. Especially when I haven't played all wipe. So I only have a couple of juiced kits but once I die with those I'm back to stock weapons half of which I can't even buy ammo for.

@@mosin9349 arena should be completely separate from Base Tarkov in all aspects the fact they are saying your skills will transfer is already gonna ruin Arena. How is it supposed to be an esports game if some can run meta and some have max strength. It's bullshit
