And it'll become brown and more solid but will lose its viscosity, if it's been additionally boiled. You can eat it with and cutlery without the risk of spilling it.
Actually I know why he does this! "Immediately after toasting but before drinking, most Russians will perform a very loud and obvious exhale, which is supposed to have some mitigating effect on a hangover." Always thought that this was cool to learn after playing Russia set games.
He's exhaling, not inhaling. And there's rational explanation. You shouldn't keep a lot of air in your throat before having a strong drink if you don't have something to wash it down or have a bite right after, so as you shouldn't inhale air through your mouth for a little while after you had one, because you can get an esophagus irritation, and exhalation of air suppresses this irritation to some extent. Especially it's useful if you drink something at least as strong as absinthe.
@@BattleBrickState In my country they put these blant wheat crackers with a little bit of salt. They are excellent with butter. They're a pinnacle of a brazilian's breakfast. They're also used in office jobs, so you go eating something while filling some documents.
You know how when you are in a food-deprived battlefield and you finally have a can of food, you whip out your little plastic spoon, eat two spoonfuls, and the rest turns to nuclear waste so you throw the rest away? Yeah, me too.
Would be amazing if they made it so you left discarded junk packets and bottles after using them OR take up backpack space (1x1) or (1x2) carrying junk items to hide your location from that one sweaty guy.
Someone needs to make a zombie survival game similar to Tarkov and having those eating animations. Like the AI being the zombies with variants, and the rest to be players trying to survive or something.
The Algorithm has decided that Thanksgiving Day is the best time to recommend this video to me. Happy Thanksgiving to anyone else who stumbles onto here!
"Army crackers" are actually something called "Hardtack.". They're a quick bread that's not supposed to be eaten alone. You're supposed to dip it in a broth. Otherwise you MIGHT chip a tooth... Also why is he drinking the mayonnaise? I've never had mayonnaise so thin I could drink it... Let alone how disgusting drinking it sounds. I'd spoon eat it though if I had to... Mayonnaise is literally whipped egg whites... So its a good source of protein.
Yes and no. Crackers in military rations aren’t at the level of hardtack, and are more like graham crackers in texture, but taste more like saltines. Thick like graham crackers too, but they aren’t hardtack, the military moved away from that back in the First World War, at least America did, pretty sure Britain kept hardtack around for a bit longer before basically abandoning it because it could break a tooth, preferring something more akin to saltines. Russian crackers are weird though, they’re something in between a cracker and a cookie, or biscuit in texture, though they’re rather bland, meaning they can be used for plenty of things without it ruining the taste.
This is a survival situation, isn't it? Eating sugar cubes, drinking mayo and condensed milk. As disgusting as it seems, wouldn't you have to chug down a jar of mayo if you were starving?
Seriously, what with most game that have food and drink system only have character eating Military Ration MRE biscuits/cracker instead of other content in the pack
