Loot is 10000% less in pve. Even less loot than before they buffed it a while back.

They still need to fix AI scavs and bosses not fighting PMC's in PvE.

AI Scavs are defenitly evolving. They jiggle Peak, grouping up and searching for the player , using more grenades, sneaking up nearly silently asf. I really love it that they are evolving and are dangerous at any time, especially the buckshot Scav. Also as a PMC at the end of Streets Raid most AI Scavs have full Backpacks. Even found some Marked Keys in them

kiba gun store on PVE had anywhere from 10-20 guns on the wall now its 0-1 loot was 100% nerfed

PvE loot is absolutely nerfed. I was struggeling to fill a backpack on reserve. And open a few marked rooms that was just completely empty

Are scavs getting smarter? Idk, but what I do know is one tried to trickshot me by throwing a nade at the wall in front of it. The nade proceeded to bounce off somehow, not going backward, but went towards my direction and almost killed me. That is my story of how I screamed at the top of my lungs at 4 am in the morning

2:43 they fixed the armor damage not showing up, so now it does. But it also introduced not showing round expenditure and hits.

me and my friend have noticed the AI scavs have been wayyyy more aggro than normal absolutely swarming in hordes even when you're using very silent weapons/rounds

the boss area on streets (lexos) is notorious for pulling tons of scavs. the area is very central so they walk in from concordia, fallen crane, the crossroad with the btr, the playground behind chekenya and the cinema (thats all the areas i know they come from anyway, it's possible crossroad scavs come from pinewood and cinema from the abandoned factory, increasing the range even more)

Heads up, it seemed like the Rogues on Lighthouse are shooting at USEC PMC's further than normal. Rogue on the front GL was shooting at me while I was running across the main road at construction. Wayy further back than I've ever been shot at without engaging them first.

In PVE scavs go everywhere. Even the dome ain’t strange to them anymore. I haven’t seen them in the actual spiral down to D2 but I would be surprised. As for the bags, both PMCs and scavs will collect loot.

I have notices scavs seem to sporn in and run on much bigger paths. They definately travel outside of previous areas to push shots and loot bodies. EG woods scavs seem to go from Grey all the way to med camp back and fourth

Biggest thing I've noticed the last few days... the Goons. They are all over the map now. The Goons on Shoreline go to the farm north up to the car extract, they end up by the gas station road between gas & the pier. On Customs, I've seen them at the Dorms and sometimes they're at the Roadblock extract where the PMCs & Scav Gang would spawn. Woods they are past Prapor's convoy and down by the Sunken Church in the abandoned village there. The Scavs & AI PMCs in PvE are definitely looting more; I've lost attachments after death as well and multiple boxes and bags are empty because of them. Example is the FOB in Woods, half the containers were empty and all the scavs and PMCs had backpacks full of loot.

I've definitely seen more scavs moving back and forth now than standing still since the patch. Used to always just be scavs standing around doing nothing until they saw someone but now most of them are always moving somewhere

I remember a Tarkov Tv like a year ago were Nikita said something along the lines, that he is very unhappy even dislikes most of the clunky Scav behaviour. Good work on them its getting notably better.

I was in interchange, looting an enemy PMC and then i saw a scav from the distance. The scav missed some bullets then he went behind the wall and just a second after he rightpicked me in the face. SICK!

I’ve never had more fun playing labs than on PVE. I would somewhat regularly find BTC or GPSA or something in red/violet. Since update i’ve been blessed with bolts/caps in rare spawns in the rooms instead of figurines or actual valuables

I am still having issues with Ref's Rep and Daily tasks. I should have around 0.45 rep, but everytime I log onto EFT, the rep resets to 0.41, and then resets in Arena. Has anyone else had this issue or something similar? If so please report it.

The scav backpack content is related to the loot mechanics implemented for PVE. They said that the same thing will be ported to the PVP servers.

Pretty sure the "scav horde" is like a %chance event that can happen to anyone on any map after killing a scav at a POI. Perhaps they increased the likelihood? I killed around 15-18 in dorms last night. I've definitely had hordes randomly spawn on me for several wipes now, albeit seldom.

PVE Kiba went from having ~15 guns and ~10 plates to ~7 guns and 5~ plates for me. Even less when you consider that half the spawns are SR-2M's. Quest keys also seem to not be spawning, 25+ Shoreline runs, zero cottage keys or west 216 keys which now sell for millions.

AI scava have been doing this in PVE for some time now. My friend and I did an interchange raid and killed 57 scava between the two of us. Before this patch I don’t think I even saw 57 scava on one map.

I have my gripes with the game and some of the directions it's going, but I absolutely LOVE the Scav changes they've been cooking up. I 100% agree that Scavs are acting way different, and it's shaping up to be my favourite additions of the last few years. I think BSG should tune down their agressive echo location of fights across the map a little, but other than that I'm pretty excited about the future.

Like 2 weeks ago I was getting scav rushed on streets like you say. But actually now it seems less, although they seem to be roaming in packs more now. And it is cool that they loot now. If you stay late into raid then you can get full packs off scavs. I think they might be able to open containers? Cuz the other day when I was scaving streets an AI walked up to the cabinets I was looting and looked at them for like 30 sec then walked off

I just wanna say i found back to back yellow and green key cards in lighthouse marked room 2 days ago on pvp mode

Pmc's are definitely looting and extracting too, woods scav base/medical outpost is stripped clean and empty at the end of the raid (rip doing capturing outposts in pve)

To give an accurate comparison a majority of crates, boxes, and drawers are not only worse loot but specifically *NO* loot. FOB camp on woods was completely empty except a single grizzly kit and an augmentin. The entire camp. Marked room shmarked room, if 70% of the unlocked map is now devoid of loot thats more notable than not getting keycards. Most people have never found a keycard anyways

Idk about the less loot. Hit marked room in PVE streets yesterday and got two yellows with one key use.

For Fixing Ref Task > I had to da A Scav and a PMC Raid and after that the quest was synced to Arena.

Only speaking for the pve side, completely reduced. Relax room on streets has like 1/3 of the loot it normally does. Marked rooms are just about completely empty except for maybe an mp7, kirasa, and some ammo. I’m fine with them reducing the possibility of getting labs key cards but it needs to be somewhat worth the price tag of the key which is usually 15mill or more.

has anyone else notice a significant uptick in the amount of AI scavs on customs? theres so many more than normal

I personally noticed the scavs swarming more recently this happened to me a few times last wipenbut not much this wipe but it has started to me again since the update idk

I was in a customs run at new gas station. Proceeded to kill Reshalla. No cap about 20 scavs proceeded to swarm me.

Picked a golden rooster off AI scav on woods yesterday....

When the patch came out i had multiple raids on interchange with over 30 scav kills I think they do search for pmcs and go towards gunshots

Out of the 25 times I have opened marked in dorms I have got 22 labs cards. Loot has definitely not been nurfed

Definitely got the PVE Scav AI, since I started PVE thats how scavs were, almost every raid was 20+ scav kills. They kept spawning on me in dorms, and coming from everywhere. lmao

My friend lost 45M rubles and a few bitcoins with the patch. 2 money cases just disappeared from his stash along with everything inside them. He's (understandably) quitting until wipe

The PMC AI in scav runs seems about 50% lower than in regular PMC runs

They still havent gotten the pve boss spawn rates right. Its either on or off because pmcs and raiders count as bosses

PVE: Loot nerf is a thing, 100%. cards / valuable loot in expensive rooms is 1/4 of what it was before patch. Scavs: I had 2 raids on Interchange with 54, and 57 entities killed (most of them scavs). Another on Streets with 52 (kaban and rest of them scavs). there's is a metric fuckton of scavs!

Yesterday SCAV left a grenade on the ground... Streets PVE. I saw that he is looking down, came to see what he is doing, he run away and i saw the grenade on the ground... Strange! :(

Scavs are different, they go to where gunshots are now. If you stay in an area after killing a scav you get swarmed constantly I dont know why they can hear suppressors though.

I play mainly PVE. I went to ground zero for some dailies, I killed 30 scavs in one raid. They just kept coming at me. As a scav I heard pmcs talk and they just ignored me. Running by to go extract. So somethings up with all AI.

Ran Kiba, literally only had 2 guns on the walls (about 10 before the nerf) + I made the mistake of finally biting the bullet and getting the 27mil 314 key after the update without knowing 😭

I got two reds and a green before the event for therapist. The rest of my Marked loot was dogwater since the patches

i got a double red card spawn at the height of the therapist event in dorms marked when i bought a 1/10 key for cult p2 lol

I killed a scav in PVP yesterday and he had the relax key in his backpack...

I get 40 scav kills per raid when I go to empty servers in the morning. Great for XP actually. This happened before when over 50% of players extracted from the map. Now it happens earlier in raid.

Its crazy how horrible PvE is. You shoot 1 bullet and every single AI on the map teams up to push you. I played some earlier with a buddy and we killed a total of 17 PMCs on woods. Like how is that possible when the max PMC spawn for that map is 14?! Not only that, but Bosses will team up with PMCs and Scavs in PvE!!! Its ridiculous how much they ruined the AI. Dont even get me started on the loot for PvE because thats just abysmal dogshit 😭😭😭😭

They maybe silently adding in the additional AI rework from PvE just not publically announcing it (Nikita being a troll) or drip-feeding it in test bed waves with technical updates, as what you describe is pretty much what BSG said that AI Scavs and AI PMC's would be do in PvE. Granted AI PMC's in PvE target specific or generally higher quality loot, while Scavs just go complete Roomba mode and suck everything they can get their hands on, although I've only ever seen 'em go for loose loot as opposed to container loot. Even seen Scavs pick something up out of the ground where nothing spawns (almost like they reach into the nether to grab something)

Loot is SUPER Nerfed. Havent found ANY LEDex in UltraMed on Interchange vs. the occasional double LEDex before patch. No bitcoin at any of the lockers either or GPUs in the tech stores...

As far as the PvE fixes go, pretty much only the infinite Gym use got fixed. Removing the AI is half fixed, takes a few extra steps but its still doable from what I've heard on PvE focused chanels.

I haven't played tarkov in a couple months after it being my main game for about 4 years now, the breaks nice bc now I'm soooo hype to play again, wipe in August baby let's goooo

The scav hordes are mental on streets. Was fighting kaban had to kill about 20 scavs aswell

They need to buff marked rooms. They also need to buff all the maps for loot. It’s absolutely ridiculous at how long it takes to make money in this game.

Oh I thought I go crazy but glad someone else noticed Scav's different behavior, I died a lot to them, seemingly they are much more aggresive too? I had like dozens of ai scav's just pushin the corner like some bosses do. Edit and ye freaking hordes on interchange I feel its really bad I set my new record with over 45 kills o0

The loot nerf plus the aggressive scav armies swarming you has practically not made it worth going into a raid if you're specifically looking for materials/items for hideout, quest or crafting. The risk and reward just hasn't been worth it for my friends' and I. The scav armies have only been nice for having to kill them in specific areas quests.

My friend and I got killed by an invisible nade in streets today, it happened to me first and my friend though I was crazy, happened to him an hour or two later and he threw the biggest fit lol.

I’ve. Priced tho idk if they fixed it but when I’m playing Pve as a scav and I’d run around and I’d see a PMC AI and he would t shoot me and I’d go right up to him and he would kind of look like a scav so I’d ignore him then I’d start walking away and then he’d shoot me

Got out of interchange with 54 scav kills, nearly all of them in the middle. Once you start shooting in mid they keep coming from all directions, it's insane

Ive had trouble loading into Streets since the PvE offline patch. Lost many kits since and cant do my quests :(

Pve loot definitely nerfed in Interchange. Goshen back shelves empty and food shelves nearly empty.

I was a boycotter when the unheard edition came out.... now i think they are acutally doing really good stuff, and they are focusing on stuff we are talking about now, such as the wishlist and survey buttons. Im actually hyped for wipe.

I had the Scav horde thing happen to me on Reserve. I killed some raiders then got rushed by a bunch of Scavs and ended up dying to a player Scav which was BS because the AI Scavs would end up giving away my position to the player. Definitely not the most fun experience.

Found the most expensive marked key in pve. Have yet to get anything but pistols and pc parts after 5 uses.

loot is so ass now. every single technical/medical crate in fortress was empty but one that had tape and a geiger counter as the only 2 items. marked rooms still have cards but rare asf. scavs, "pmcs" and bosses work together which is just fucked. not to mention frames are still bad on some maps when hosting on your own servers. plus we need another event or some lategame shit for pve. level 67 with kappa and LK is bugged

Scaves are absolutely annoying now, the dont stop spawning, they are everywhere ( cant flank someone without killing 3 scavs on the way), often cant have a pvp fight without getting shot by a scav too and they kreep on you like mad, got me killed more often than ever lately. Feels like playint pve or offline horde while playing normal tarkov. I really dont like it

scavs aren't going up the stairs and clearing corners backwards anymore?

i was in resort last night and a scav that had no line of sight, or any possible knowledge i was there, threw a pinpoint grenade under my feet. im calling this 'broken". The fact that every scav has a grenade, and instantly tries to throw it, is 1000% artificial difficulty. and its fucking disgusting.

Oh so that's what's going on. Went to streets and i got swarmed by both scavs and pmcs on pve. killed 5 pmcs, 6 or more scavs, ran out of ammo (9x21 for the srimp) and died to buckshot to the eyes

yeah Gingy killed 67 scavs on interchange in PVP mode. Something is up.

Looted both tech stores in interchange in pvp for like 50 raids no gpus 🤷🏻‍♂️

In pve I've found like over 15 keycards in marked rooms, 3 reds, like 2 greens, a blue, yellow, black and once I've found 3 violets in a single raid so yeah, nerfed

I felt like I was tagged and curse. The scav would not stop coming and I got 40 scav kills on streets. This needs to be fix because I can’t move around the map. I just have to defend against waves of scav attacks

The scavs roaming about has actually been a super problem for me in PvE when I'm doing scav runs, since the PMC's don't have easily-identifiable meta loadouts and instead have random skins and basically random weapons and armor, and the AI PMC's still walk like scavs, it's tough to tell at a glance which is which. I've killed so many scavs as a scav because I saw some dude wandering about somewhere scavs normally aren't present and just started blasting. When you're a scav, it's usually shoot first or take a shot that *always* gives you Heavy Bleed and proceed to lose 10 minutes of your life, so, it's hard to wait and see if they start aggro first...

did anyone have their weekly missing after technical update yesterday? it was not there then when timer for daily reset it poped up i could accept "new" weekly but with only 4 days left not week? like it sucks i had 80-90% done 30pmc headshot kills on labs but yea it is what it is just curious if anybody else had this happened to them

Opened marked key 314 today and got a green/red/yellow card so not sure about the loot nerf however labs looks to be severely nerfed
