That first scav fight on woods with the 2 PMCs was bonkers. I would have probably given up and accepted my fate. I panic in that situation when I’m on my PMC with an ETG-C stim in my injectors case and a surv 12. Couldn’t even imagine trying to crawl out of there with only a thorax and analgin.

I've had a similar experience on a night raid on ground zero. Somehow, when there no other PMCs around you in a larger area, the Scavs seem to be drawn to you like zombies looking for brains. It's crazy!

Great video as always. I wish I could play as bravely as you. After not playing for several wipes I wanted to give it a shot again this year but had not really time yet to play. So far I only did a couple of SCAV raids and none on my PMC. I have the feeling I'm already falling too far behind again and I can't overcome my gear fear on my PMC.

I wouldn't worry much about losing gear; it comes by very easily and as you mentioned, scav raids help a ton with it. I'm fairly 'far behind' as well, taking so much time away from actually playing the game to edit videos, but with all the armor hitboxes, almost all weapons and ammo types are viable now so I don't think we'll feel it as much as in past wipes.

On the woods raid, I think "Lost" refers to the plane crash, because of the show Lost and the task item is instanced, so every player in the raid would be able to pick up their own copy if needed

Yeah, I've done the task for years and am an Emissary so I'm familiar with the instanced loot (maybe I said something during the video that felt otherwise), but that's interesting about the "Lost" achievement. I can't help but notice the 'Nakatni' building on the new map with the dead guy in a suit on the street below.. I wonder what move that's a reference to 😄

I had a raid this wipe with a buddy on customs where we had over 40 scavs roll up on us at the green screen building over about 15 minutes. It was unreal. Had to loot scav guns because neither of us brought enough ammo for that many scavs

Bought Tarkov a couple days ago, definitely getting better with my last run netting 13 Scav kills and i even found a labs keycard on a previous raid! I've been farming Woods and have completed a couple quests in Ground Zero. Any general tips?

I love how there's two quintessential Swamp raids; either spawns in as scav with something valuable and immediately dips, or loots the whole map until the extract timer is deep in the red and barely makes it out by the skin of his teeth 😄

Edit level is very nice, gameplay level timmy but you will grow :) btw do you have mouse acceleration on, or just big sens and or dpi?( just figured how you turn in tight spaces and how you aim for longer distances)

Because of you I reinstalled the game, removed it in the first place because I'm so bad at fps 😂 But recently with an extremely light loadout I somehow managed to get 7 scavs with my pistol only, quite unexpected 😁 Right now going decently well, I unlocked most of the hideout, looking for quests to get a bigger pouch, the alpha one starts to become a lot too small

Blender is where the character is initially rigged, then lots of post processing for the coloring, lighting, shadows, reflections etc.. in other apps, as well as for the background

Hey SwampFox, enjoy the videos but as someone who uses subtitles- the way you do on-screen captions interferes/overlaps with RU-vid autocaptioning. It makes both hard to read, and hides the things you put on there longer for emphasis. You may want to explore using a safe zone overlay to place the subtitles elsewhere (perhaps upper third instead of lower third) as an accessibility and QoL improvement to your videos!

Early wipe task has got to be Setup. I purposely refuse to do it any longer, and with the daily missions and some of his other quests I can get to max trader rep without it. Nothing even comes close.

Yeah, I'm actually one of Tarkov's Emissaries (we deliver feedback to and from the community to BSG) and one of the main things I've been pushing for is to lower the kill count required for Setup. 15 with crappy gear is just way too crazy for a fairly early task imo. I feel like even if it was only like six, it would still totally fulfill the interesting 'story' of the quest (framing PMC kills to have been done by scavs, since you dress as one) while making the task a lot more manageable. Instead, 15 kills feels like a huge roadblock to most players imo

I pick up most scav weapons for XP (you get bonus XP the first time you pick up any individual item in a raid, and weapons trigger this benefit for each attachment), but they're quite heavy and sell for very little, so I tend not to keep really any scav weapons unless they're rare (like an SVD)

I don’t play Tarkov unfortunately. I’m a console Gamer, could anyone tell me when he heals do you go back full health if you treat all injuries?

It depends, if you heal or solve a bleed in time you can remain at max health. If you lose a limb and have to do surgery to put it back, that part will lose some max HP for the remainder of the raid
