At 12:31 you got a golden brimstone, it’s something in the mod that adds the tarnished characters which is pretty much (item here) but twice. So with golden brimstone, you get the mega brimstone like you got two!

No one might care, but i unlocked two tainted characters today! Edit: Due to people asking, the ones i unlocked were Tainted forgotten and tainted samson. Edit: Just unlocked tainted judas!

So, Tarnished Keeps is a heckin' learning curve if I've ever seen one. for those of you just figuring out who this is, lemme give you a quick rundown: Firstly, Tarnish Keeper has a lone gold heart. It's unique to him, and he can take three hits (or two from the womb onwards) before dying. Whenever he gets hit, however, he can deliver a Midas Touch to someone, giving you more money. He also has the same short-lived coins that Tainted Keeps gets, so be sure to grab those. When you grab I think 20 coins, you get another health container, so you get more Midas touch opportunities. Finally, there's the Turnover item. Using it multiple times (four, at most) will lead to creating upgraded shops. These cost money to do, so remember to keep yourself topped up on coins. ALSO, real quick, the reason you got double brim? It was a golden item! That happens, apparently, where it'll give you two of the same item, rather than just one. 'Course, active items don't follow the same rules, so if you get one of those, uh... Sorry. :/

There is another character version in the mod. However has a secretive unlock: play as tainted Eden beat the first floor boss in 1 minute or under, and head back to the starting room, take the item and keep it from being rerolled until reaching mom's fight.

MADMAN! You really played it! ;D As you guessed, TR Keeper is entirely based on buying stuff. Stack up money, check the Turnover price up left, do your math, choose the best rooms for your commerce to grow and... buy! Oh and don't get hit: your coins are your actual health. Think of it as Sonic's rings :)

Hutts's luck in managing to get golden brimstone, guppy, godhead and absolute cracked builds in one run but not gain any traction in the misfortune that youtube puts upon him is the most sad yet enticing thing ever

Incase you didn't know hutts, the mod that adds the tarnished characters also adds Golden versions of items (90% sure its one of Tar. Keepers unlocks), which give you 2 copies of it when picked up (doesn't work for actives I don't think), that's why you got 2x brim.

This character is basically pre-repentance shop simulator, lol
