@definitely.natasha I know what you mean about ‘yes, but I’m not a monkey’, but I’m not Welsh. I have ADHD, and part of the way it manifests itself is that I’m supposedly a very good mimic of sounds, noises, and accents. I’m not blowing my own trumpet by any means, I’d rather be neurotypical as opposed to always on the edge of my nerves, terribly disorganised, and late for everything. However, it’s important to understand that when someone has an ability to do something that *very few* people can do, let alone understand, they seem so fascinated by it that they want to experience someone doing it in their presence. So I agree, it can feel like we are almost a ‘dancing bear’ chained up in a zoo & visitors ‘poke’ us & ask that we ‘perform’ for them, which is frustrating, but easier once you understand it & in particular, you set out your own ground rules for when *you* decide you will do something. Personally, I just tell people that if they are really that interested in observing my quirks, then if they are willing to spend enough time waiting, it’ll spontaneously happen. I do appreciate however that speaking Welsh (and in particular that place name) is not *necessarily* going to just spontaneously happen, but put your foot down & make sure people realise that you’re just a slave to their demands. Respect 🙂
@@PeepsarestrangeThat isn’t really the same as it is incredibly simple for anybody with either a reading age over 7, or a verbal IQ greater than the degrees Centigrade of a room temperature turd.
Taron Egerton with Gwilym Lee in the same room would make my mind explode. Two of some of the best modern day actors yet they’re so overlooked. I’m such a fangirl… 😂
That’s just an absurd amount of charisma and social intelligence. It’s got nothing to do with location and everything to do with innate social comfort.
@@Nick_the_antzzzz I can as well, for the same reason, but it's a toung twister so I need to clear my throat before doing it. Also the fact that the English think were all insane for LL, and we just make a town name with 4 of them thrown in there, well its the most despicable evil act in linguistics. also the most Welsh thing ever, "oh your english mouth is struggling with 2 l's in a row? how about 4".

@@02ladydamned Why even people say russian is scariest? We don't have even single of that harsh throat sounds like some of others has. Sounds like some evil sorcerer spitting out his malefic incursions.
ok but just by saying the full name every time he mentions it, he shows that he’s not properly from there, all the locals call it llanfair pwll or llanfair pg. also he mispronounces it. it’s like being welsh is his party trick.
It's because he's a Gog. North Wales has an accent that's less stereotypically "Welsh" than South Wales and they often sound more English. A Bond with a Rhondda accent for example would sound beautiful when he said any line.
It's phonetic and naturally melodic so once you learn how to pronounce the alphabet, you've done most of the work. Is learning the alphabet too impossible? It's almost the same as the English one.
He isn’t even Welsh. He’s English. He just moved here as a child now he’s on tv all the time making a freak show out of being welsh so the English can have a good laugh
