Tarot of the Vampires: A Chatty First Impressions | Fresh, Inclusive, Stunning 🌟

Llewellyn will definitely replace any cards giving you trouble if you reach out to them. Sorry to hear that happened with your King of Pentacles. I am also a Vampire Diaries and Originals stan (the Hermit was my tribute to Stefan) so I loved all your insights about the vampires' powers. Craig is just the greatest artist imaginable and it was so wonderful to collaborate with him on this. His level of detail is unbelievable and I had the pleasure of getting to zoom way in on the image files he would send over. I remember zooming waaaaay in on the Queen of Wands' dress and every single jewel on it is distinct and it's just inspiring. And oof when you turned over the King of Cups and pointed out there wasn't any water - what a miss on my part. I should have asked for a fountain there. ;-) You asked about the Goddess on the Temperance card and that is Artemis the Goddess of the Hunt. If my memory is correct I sent Craig the image of an ancient Greek Krater with her on it and I thought "You are being the most... this is too much detail" but Craig is the master and it made it into the art. Thank you again for this video, it was wonderful to get your first impressions.

I loved this unboxing so much, Im getting this deck!! You picked up on so many details, and your enthusiasm is so adorable, it made me even more enthusiastic for this deck than I already was. I've been eyeing this deck for a couple of weeks, and really love that there is a story going through all of the cards, you get to follow the characters and see what happens to them, I findd that to be rare in tarot decks, which makes this one unique and intriguing. Btw, the woman with the bow and arrow on the vase in the Temperance card is Diana, the Roman Goddess of the Hunt, also called Artemis by the Greeks…..she is patroness of the countryside, wildlife, hunters, nature, childbirth, and the crossroads, the night, and the moon. The Ankh is an Egyptian symbol which is “the key of life”. The eye is probably “the eye of Horus”….or “the eye of Ra”, and represents well being, healing, and protection, also Egyptian. It’s when Set tore out Horus’s eye(s), which were somehow healed by Thoth, and then Horus presents them to his dead father, Osiris, as a “funerary” gift…..it’s power (the eyes) helps Osiris to survive/thrive in the afterlife.

Hey! Thanks so much for doing this review on The Tarot of the Vampires, as I always wondered how it compares to The Tarot of the Vampyres”, which I do have, but may return. It’s ok, but it feels a bit too dark for me. The book is, supposedly, excellent, but there are NO photos of the cards contained in the guidebook, neither black and white photos nor color photos, which bugs me. I was thinking I may do better with Tarot of the Vampires by Llewelyn, as it seems a bit lighter overall, and it does have color photos of each card and uses quality paper for their guidebook. I’m happy to see you review it here, so I can get an idea of what it’s like/compare the two as to content, overall quality, etc. Btw, don’t know if it’s a sweater or hand warmers, or fingerless gloves, but I absolutely LOVE whichever it is you have on! A beautiful pattern and color! Where did you get them, if you don’t mind my asking? Thank you, again, for the review!! 😊

The 😂knife on the Magicians table has his blood on it... (I'm gonna be updating this comment while I'm watching 😉) The guy in the fool card is the head of the character of Hook in the series "once upon a time" With the 6 of pentacles and all the talk of the Vampire diaries you've made me realise I need to finish it! I've a few episodes of season 8 to watch. Ya know when they overdo things and they go to shit and you give up, but you still gotta go back eventually to see how it ended...!? It's raining here today so it's time to sort that out I think!

Hi Robyn! Great video. I too, love The Lost Boys and Originals (also my fave of the 3). This video came in great timing because I wanted to grab a deck or two during this Llewelyn sale and this gives me a chance to buy my 1st vampire themed deck. This is right up my Gemini alley! I like the quirky, yet slight spooky vibe it has to it. And the 6 of Cups brings back childhood memories w/ the Count Chocula cereal! The guidebook seems really good, too! All in all, I’m stoked for this one!
