I hear u . When u said sometimes your excited to get a deck and you think your going to connect and once u get it you don't. That's happened to me before.
Ahhhhh! Good morning Honeylou!! So happy to see you on the oooootubes. I see you on insta all the time. Queer Tarot is definitely a divine treasure. I gave mine to my youngest daughter (that way, I can play with it at her house). A lot of the people in the deck reminded me of her friends. She does drag performances, and her circle is so beautiful and colorful. I think the burnout time is healthy. When I have gone through times of intense study, burnout always follows. It's a little like the rings of a tree. We have to build up a little bark. I was just looking at the Tea oracles. It's funny that you mentioned her. I just got an in person reading yesterday at my local metaphysical store. She was a really fun reader. Her Oracle deck (I forget what it was) was so beautifully worn! It was soooo good.
I wrote too many things at once. 🤯 The deck I want is Grffittea. I don't remember what her deck was. She read it like Lenormand. Laid out like 25 cards in 10 minutes. The Oracle has wide borders, and keywords like, Promise, Oath, Unseen, Engenu... her deck was so beat up - it was beautiful.
I love using a wet Palette. I used one all throughout getting my MFA. I was able to get really great blending without having to add anything. My favorite paints is Utrecht Artist paints. Really great pigment and variety of color. I have been trying to learn astrology. I look forward to your videos on it.

😍all the decks. I’ve been enamored with Thoth decks & the system lately, I love RWS & Marseille, but I am not as familiar with Thoth and it’s just so deep, weighty, complex, and so friggin’ intriguing. I’ve had TWU archetypes awhile but started really exploring that deck a bit ago and I’m enjoying that deck a lot. Still have a hard time overhanding-cards fly everywhere lol-but still, it’s a rich deck & I like the guidebook ( I love and am a sucker for a good guidebook.) one of the books I’m currently reading is 21 ways to read a Tarot card, so far it’s pretty interesting. Have you read that one yet, if so what was your take on it? I was looking so forward to The Cosmic Wisdom Tarot, it’s truly incredible. I have to try that soap trick, my decks get hammered lol. Queer tarot is another excellent deck. I can talk about these decks all damn day lol. I do the same thing going back and forth with decks, lol. I was in Barnes and noble about two weeks ago with my son. He’s 17 so he left me be did his thing & walked around the mall (attached) and about 45 minutes later I’m still looking at decks deciding, I must have gone back and forth so much he was just staring at me like “really?” Lol.I’m asking him, “what do you think about this one, the art?” Being a 17 year old he could have cared less lol. My love affair with Carols decks only just started, I’m absolutely obsessed and I want them all, lol. She is such a talented sweetheart! I still can’t get over her incredible artwork, I can’t tell you how many times I’ll just look through each card and soak up all the beauty & fantastic imagery.
