"The crystal ball" by John Waterhouse, with the skull. The depiction of saint's with skulls is common. This is actually what I thought of, not an occult symbolism, but very Catholic, saintly, an allusion to wisdom, prudence, mortality... so I see her, the central figure, as a learned woman of wisdom, vision, spiritual fortitude, able to see the macrocosm in the microcosm... I am sure there is more I could understand by understanding the context... intention.
I was unaware of the 4 horseman and how the shades of each changed. thank you for sharing with us some of the patterns and as you had mentioned it is more so the historical and cultural research we shall do and then to come to you for the pattern recognition. I have my homework and now I am off to do so.
You spoke fine, I did have a chuckle about the comment about visiting the dentist! I like your teaching method, and glad to see that logic is part of intuition. It looks to me to be the Botticelli deck. It IS gorgeous art!!! But, FYI - Ms. Wen does say in another video that it is not an easy one to read with and she uses it mostly for display.

do you find learning tarot to blend into other areas of life? I already am learning to trust my intuition more and it feels like tarot could be something to help amplify that/ while understanding the context of the cards. I am a clinical social worker and really any art/ practice is a blend of a basis of basic knowledge and then a refinement of skill= making it your own. thank you! its all connected!
Im shuffling my tarot and the Empress(which is depicted as pregnant in the card) fall out. When at that time im thinking that the girl with the crystal ball is pregnant too.
