This was fun, Laura! I’m shocked you didn’t have a horror ish deck. As always, you show off decks Ive never seen before. It was fun hearing you talk about your favorite genres. Hope all is well 🧡
💜 Ha! We must be similar ages. I do really feel glad to have grown up with those kinds of programming. ...it explains something about me now, I'm sure of it.
@@aquamarine18 yesss they really don't make animated films like they used to! Such a good era for animation..Fern gully had such a big impact on me. My partner and I actually recently rewatched Nimh and it was heavy and dark AF! Is it weird that I miss when kids media was like that?? Lol
Finally watched! Im so happy you did this tag and I absolutely loved every minute of it. I swear I could listen to you talk all day about anything 😂🩵 Threadbound was SUCH a perfect pick for romance! Also I think your thriller pick was spot on...very eerie vibes.
💜 Well I appreciate that, it gives me hopes my students who had to listen to me drone on were not totally bored 😂 I just read Cedar McCloud's second Threadbound-related novel and it was super sweet - just the kind of cozy feeling relaxed fantasy slow-burn friends romance that I didn't know I needed!
Ferngully! Such a good movie. I am not a big horror fan. But I have and loooove the Halloway Tarot. It’s based on the podcast Welcome to Nightvale, which I also haven’t listened to. The imagery is more surreal than horror, but there’s definitely some body horror in there. I feel like the person who made it really knew the tarot. It reads so well and the colors are lovely.
