Iwould like to know what has become of Tarquin himself; I cherished his name since 1968 when I heard about him by my best friend Jenny Gaillard. I wish i could have married him. I named my son, now 39, Tarquin. Vera Parr

Alexa Parr Yes that was the first time and only time I ever heard the name tarquin was with Olivier son and I also think it's a wonderful name

I have always wondered if Tarquin Olivier has a relationship with his half siblings, Olivier's children with Joan Plowright.

He adored Vivien and in another documentary said that his mother Jill came to like Vivien because with her charm you couldn’t not like Vivien. She made sure Larry and Tarquin had a close relationship knowing his son deserved that. I’m sure Joan thinks her kids were more important being his younger kids but I think Tarquin looks like his dad.

In my VHO, the best Hamlet will ALWAYS be, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, will ALWAYS, be, Mel Gibson. He was underrated, in Shakespere. He is right up there with Olivier.
