The Tartu Food and Wine Festival took place from August 9th to 11th, showcasing the city’s vibrant street food scene. While Tartu is known for its prestigious university, this video focuses on the delicious offerings at the festival. From fried herring and fresh oysters to exclusive gourmet burgers, there was something for every palate. Renowned restaurants had their booths alongside popular food trucks. A portion of octopus skewers with salad was priced at €15, and burgers started at €9. Although there were performances scheduled, I didn't stay to watch. Most visitors were busy exploring the tastiest and most affordable options. It was more of a culinary exploration than a thrilling event, but it provided a great taste of Tartu’s street food culture.
