Good memmories of playing through this game on Game Vube with Sonic Adventure DS's GG game collection.

We have Sonic Spinball at home (I swear, Sonic Spinball is already "pinball at home", we're diving through layers of downgrades) ((Yes, I finished this game as a kid... unfortunately...))

Knowing how much that Spinball '94 is handicapped by the Stock Frequency of the Z80 in both the Sega Mark III/Master System and Game Gear, it would be welcoming to see this run taken on again at some point with a custom Overclock: On RetroArch, 07 Megahertz (CPU Speed Preset: 0200%) truly works wonders here, and I have been wondering for the past few years if something similar or better could be delivered to BizHawk via the Genesis Plus GX core (the Widescreen Hack version of the Libretro core for G+GX gives the Megadrive a native OC of 0I6 Megahertz or better for all titles when running on BizHawk; movies on it will desync though, for obvious reasons, and Mark III/Game Gear titles will crash it); with Spinball (both MD and '94), an OC increases its play speed in almost every area by more than Double, yet it's still very controllable and easy to finish even in Realtime (for '94, anyway; for MD, good luck getting out of Lava Powerhouse feasibly), definitely would be great for experimental activity down the road. (:

The SS games are just brutal plain unfair at times. This makes it look so easy

This looks even more unyieldly then the SS version. Yet more controlable at the same time...

Why y'all hating on the Genesis / Mega Drive Sonic Spinball? That game kicked ass. This really is a bastardized version though. The music and sound design absolutely suck too, sharing nothing in common with the awesome music and sound design of the Genesis version, and not being any good standalone either.

Ah, yes, the more enjoyable version of Spinball by sheer virtue of only having half the annoying gimmicks the MD version had. Still a cursed af game, though.
