I still love that the artwork makes sure to switch the colors when gill faces a different direction, it's incredible how much went into this game's details.

The funny thing is that Gill's entire design was based around this. SF3's engine was the first to be able to render different sprites for which side a character is facing, so Capcom designed Gill to to be distinctly asymmetrical to show off.

@@splitjawjanitor5369 It's not different sprites though. Look up a technique called palette swap (this is what they do for costume color changes too). Notice that the sprites are mirrored like normal (he attacks with his left on one side, right on the other). The only things that are different are his colors are switched and the effects added to his attacks are either fire or ice.

Gill fue uno de los bosses más letales que me tocó enfrentar. En su tiempo jugaba SF III Third Strike en Dreamcast, y solo por este juego adquirí un control arcade (era difícil en aquel entonces conseguir un mando arcade para esa consola). Una vez más, excelente trabajo Maestro!!

watching the black and white gill fight a crazy idea occurred to me, imagine how interesting a clone of him would be with the same appearance (white black and blue hair) where the hair refers to space, the black to black holes (power of attraction) and white to light (spreads or repelling power)
