Getting a perfect score (11) in the Mini-Golf game from Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa for the Wii (RRGE52). The ball stop was used (obviously), and the bonus holes are included, all of which can be obtained from the Duty Free Shop.
I looked up madagascar 2 perfect golf and this came out today lol Anyway. I though TAS means you do things that are *technically* possible but *practically* impossible. But stopping the ball in mid-air and changing directions like you did is technically impossible.
In the Duty Free Shop there's an item called "ball stop". Buying it allows you to press the B button (or equivalent on other consoles) to bring the ball to a stop faster. It also adds angular momentum in the process, which is how I was able to direct the ball into the goal.
@@sockpuppet69420 Oh yeahhh i remember that. But isn't it possible to 1-shot these courses without the ball stop? Over many years playing this with my pals, we've seen most courses be done in 1 shot at some point or another, without ball stop. So with TAS you could do it right? (No idea how TAS work)
@@sockpuppet69420 I'm pretty sure the first one is possible. Can you not throw the ball in the head? Then the bird can throw it where it's supposed to.
Turns out you were right. While doing so was an extremely slow and tedious process, I was able to complete a run without ball stop, which I've uploaded here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6vWwzgbhRc0.html To be honest, it's probably much less interesting to watch, due to all the waiting around in certain levels. The game is far more high-strung than I thought it would be, and some hole in ones require you to be basically pixel perfect, so I had to refine the angle over time using savestates until I got it just right. That's why you see a lot of the arrow moving back and forth slightly, since trying to do this from a fresh savestate at the start of the level (which would require repositioning the arrow from scratch every time) probably would have taken weeks...
