People, stop blaming the uploader pls. They aren't the runner. Well, ye see, I bet people mistook the video uploaders as the runners themselves, while sometimes, they aren't.
It's rather inconsiderate to call tool assisted runs cheating. Doing a proper TAS takes more time and effort than completing the game normally. Keep in mind that merely abusing save states is not TASing.
9:30 Copy X: (Watching live feed of Zero) What the fu- L: Is he even a normal Reploid, no Reploid can even come close to doing that? F: One thing's for sure, he ain't human. I mean he just climbed that wall in mere seconds. H: Let's do our best to stop him. As hard as the task would be. P: I fear we will not succeed. Whoever this guy is, he doesn't seem to be a pushover, I mean, look at how he treated the Rainbow Devil.
What? God damn it I didn't knew you could skip like 6 bosses in a row, that was hardcore. I guess this is what Zero really is when he is in all his "god of destrucion" vibe.
You can skip A LOT of bosses in the first MMZ. I believe there's only a few bosses that you actually have to beat to reach the Fortress levels. The ones that were in the video.
Ask any hardcore MMZ series fan and he will tell you that it was this reason that the MMZ1 is the best.Unlike any other megaman game it was so hard and yet it was different for not following the regular 8 stage bosses-then fortress formula. When I lost two bosses playing the game for my first time, the game still went on and at first i thought the plot was such. It was a nice experience. But more importantly, it gave the player a feel of helplessness(That all the bosses are really strong) and that's why when you defeat X in the end it is SO SATISFYING!
+Minerwithportals the first 2 strikes from the z saber and triplerod give short invincibility to allow for the triple attacks, by stopping short, you can abuse it.
Now when you say tool assisted, to what extent are you affecting the original gameplay? UPDATE: he shot 12 bullets into one enemy in less than a second. That answers itself
In the humanoid reploid room, we have: Tornado Man (MM9), Splash Woman (MM9), Acid Ace (MMSF3), and Heat Guts Style (MMBN2). I'll admit the last one is kind of pushing it, but the other three are dead ringers.
speed-run always involve the abuse of glitches and luck to finish the game as fast as the player can, the term you are looking for is longplay, longplay do all the stuff like a normal player, speed run by no mean have to go from point A to point B, usually is point A to point D
LUCK? BRO, FIRST THATS A TAS AND SECONDLY, SPEEDRUN REQUIRE A FUCKLOAD OF SKILL! BUG ABUSE IS A PROOF OF THAT!!!(ik all that because im a x4 speedruner
TAS using all its index fingers sure helped deliver all those Seraph Mode midair rolling slashes while charging the final hit of the game delivered at point-blank range.
@@aliesterus1.023 I just want to let you know that I'm still alive and well after 8 years and yes, Zero just stared at Phantom's face while he blew himself up.
+Bonnie The Bunny first of all, don't disable comments if you're going to ask for explanation. second of all, it is considered a speedrun because of the fact that it is the fastest way to complete the game.
5:30 gotta love how giving up in Fefnir's mission basically skips all normal missions, sending you straight to the Neo Arcadia ones, possibly resulting in losing the fire and ice chips if you didn't beat the stages that have them, and also most animal elves since you can't get these outside of missions.
11:48 i just realized he shoots a single bullet and dashes before each double slash so that the bosses invincibility frames dont matter WHILE ignoring double slashing cooldown making it faster than full combo what the fuck i had to watch the whole video again just to see this has been done all along but didnt catch is bc it was that fast wow
I never knew that putting up no resistance actually pushes up the game to it's final moments. That's pretty cool game. Also, Zero knows how to do Maximum Spider.
wait how the hell did the level change drastically?? i dont remember them invading the base this is news to me edit: WAIT HOW DID HE SKIP THOSE 3? (the color bois forgot their name) I STILL REMEMBER HOW ANNONYING AND FRUSTRATING IT WAS IN THAT SUBMARINE STAGE HOW DIDI HE SKIP IT??
It is nice to see they revived the original Dr. Wily movement progression core along with the destruction interpreter on this veil shift. I was worried that they had activated him too soon. Zero was never meant to be a reploid, but whatever would let it adapt. Its algorithms are among the most refined in the universe. Dr. Wily was dealing with things no human is allowed and won. Zero is the end result of this. More advanced than a simple virus, Zero transcends the veil within its own cortex.
