Obviously, Mario had to save the princess before the spaghetti finished cooking, so he mastered theoretical physics and parkour.

I admire lakitu's dedication to keep following mario even though walls and alternate dimensions, I say he's the best camera man I've seen.

Imagine it's just a normal day when all of a sudden your brother starts having a seizure on the stairs. You blink once in disbelief, and in that 1/3 of a second, your brother teleports 397.68 miles away from you

I can just image Bowser crying to a therapist saying: "I'm not crazy! He really did break the laws of physics and beat me up three times and steal every star I had in less than an hour and a half!"

Bowser is watching Mario throughout his whole adventure as he collects the 120 stars that had previously been scattered throughout the castle. Bowser is growing more and more concerned for his personal safety when Mario doesn't die. Ever. Bowser is tremendously terrified of Mario when he begins to flip and kick and literally clip through walls because he's moving with such speed and grace. By the third battle with Bowser he just gives up and gives Mario the final Grand Star.

Funny how on land you do all these crazy things, but on water there's nothing to do but swim.

To me the 100 coins and 8 red coins stars are some of the most mesmerizing to watch. They perfectly combine insane acrobatics with following the flow the designers intended.

Man, this TAS guy is insane, even pulling off more than one frame-perfect series of perfect joystick coordinate inputs.

Roughly a star every 60 seconds. I don't care if it is TAS, that shit is damn impressive! And by 60 seconds I, of course, mean 40 seconds.

One day, when aliens start picking up our signals, they're going to see Mario TAS runs and be extremely horrified of the humans with 3 millisecond reaction times.

Bowser, having successfully abducted the Princess without Mario's knowledge and cast the necessary spells to craft the many painting worlds scattered throughout the castle, checks to make sure that he had carefully hidden the 120 stars that he painstakingly broke free of castle's grid in these worlds. Months of work, dozens of black magic spells cast, and hundreds of hours of labor from the koopa work force. But it was finally done - he decides to take a well deserved nap while the hapless plumber surely takes time to figure out what's going on and stumble through finding the first few stars. Maybe this time Mario would fail or give up or even die, but Bowser wasn't going to leave that to chance. Not this time. There's still so much to do, and Bowser doesn't have time to waste. But ninety minutes won't kill him - all his work will surely still be there when he wakes up.

Just imagine the time and efforts it took to make this TAS. Seriously, this is one of the best TAS I have ever seen.

Random observation, but this is the first video I've seen on RU-vid that completely filled my iPad Pro screen with no black bars. Was great.

The fastest star collected was "Blast to the Lonely Mushroom" which was collected in 0:05. You can see that in the time frame 1:05:30. The slowest star to collect was "Elevate for 8 Red Coins" which was collected in 1:50. You can see that in the time frame 27:44.

As Luigi, I have to say that my brother Mario is truly an amazing individual. He is an expert at jumping, fighting and exploring, and I have always looked up to him and admired his abilities. He has a special kind of courage and determination that is truly admirable. I wish I could learn from him and acquire some of his skills, his adventure and skills are truly unmatched. I am always in awe of his bravery and quick thinking when it comes to defeating enemies and overcoming obstacles. If only I could be half as skilled and brave as he is, I would be one happy Luigi.

There was a lot of impossible stuff in the is run; A lot of unbelievable stuff, but the greatest of all of these is TAS Mario being able to accurately control the wing cap.

Soooo does anyone else find TAS videos so interesting and entertaining or is it just me? I always come back to this every once in a great while and it still surprises me at how much is possible or impossible in speedruning
