Golf is a sports game developed and released by Nintendo in 1984. As the name of the game suggests, Golf is about playing Golf. It was the first golfing game to use power and accuracy bars, paving the way for future golfing games.
link_7777 ( tasvideos.org/... ) completes all 18 holes as quickly and with as few strokes as possible.

The best music collection in an NES game (with lyrics). 1. The ball if hit ("Thud"). 2. Long drive ("ooooooooOOOOO"). 3. Sand Wedge ("Woooeeeeooooo!"). 4. That reminds me of a 🏌️‍♀️ from 🇧🇷 who goes by the name of Fernando Almeida. That guy is the best when it comes to drives, but he fails at everything else, which is why he is as skilled at chipping the ball in as Mario is.

I believe it is because the technology that there was not enough memory to display messages such as "Triple Bogey" or "Hole in One".

@@leonnoel9661 naww, they just got lazy. Fighting Golf, and Mario Open Golf came out just a couple years later on the NES, and rewarded the player with all kinds of character reactions and victory tunes.

Imagine if this game had a tetris quality soundtrack and the pace of music got faster and more intense on the big shots! Classical music works fine though when playing!

-40 and the guy still looks angry as all get-out I think this score can be shaved by at least one. The 12th is driveable, depending on the wind-unless TAS found out there’s no way to ace that hole regardless.

Greetings, the sovereign truth is that you screwed up many, many holes in one, in the par 3 holes, when I had NES and played GOLF, barely in Hole 3 of Par 3 was the only time I made a hole in one and I was excited at that moment, from then on I never made a hole in one again

:( This looks awful. When I want a TAS of a golf game it should look like perfect play where no shot is intentionally screwed up as it looks too artificial rather than "the perfect play" where a golfer hits all their shots dead on center.

Have you played this game, or did you just judge in ignorance. The way the game works, you have very little control over how the computer aims you at the hole, so you have to improvise. These shots were purposely made to warrant makable hole-outs each time.
