I determined that the reason the game is unplayable on emulators is that the music is CD audio playback instead of from the PS1 sound chip, and it becomes out of sync with the game's clock that tracks sound effects and the timing of your button inputs. Not sure if there's an emulation setting that can fix the problem, disabling vsync didn't do anything
It's so satisfying to hear the little sfx play in time with the music. Very impressive! I hope that one day you do some of the other routes since the ost is so interesting
it's both, actually! if you follow the computer perfectly you get 30/50 art points only, which is where the circle comes from, i'm using a triangle to replicate the alternate loading screen face that gives 50/50 art points
seeing ppl get into rhythm games from fnf makes me glad i donated to the kickstarter n stuff, but comments like this are why i sometimes wish it was purged from existence
