@@jacksontheghost I mean, it's a big time saver. As much of a close call it is. It's just so that it wouldn't waste time from being in the score screen for too long. Besides, it's a TAS bot playing. Not a human.
I always thought that Super Sonic would be available in the original Sonic 3D blast, but unfortunately it is not in the original but only in the DX version, also Sonic walking on lava without a fire shield just letting that sink in for a sec.

Honestly man. A Newgame+ run of this would be so fun to watch since the change they made to limit how fast you can get all 7 emeralds means there is a lot of content that you can't see at the higher level of speed.
If we ever get a TaxStealth-Style remaster of Sonic 3D Blast, Sega needs to use this as a base for the game, albiet without the password system and maybe the one emerald per zone rule along with the ability to customize the game’s graphics and sounds between the Genesis & Saturn versions. Although who knows how the Special Stage will be handled.

I was wondering why you did weird stuff in the special stages until I realized the one or two exrta rings you would pick up would make that slightest time loss on the score
I've been wondering this for some time now, but how come you were stopping at a number before the exact number of rings collected (49 --> 50, 99 --> 100, 149 --> 150) in the special stages? Are you not worried you'll miss a ring before reaching the checkpoint? Just wondering.
@@ShiroParadox99 Oooohh, savestates. I always exceed the number of rings to make it easier for me to clear a special stage in Sonic 2. I'm sorry if this is no way related to Sonic 3D Blast by the way. I never played it before!😂
It uses the same sound engine as Sonic 3, which is wise to save time. Which also isn't saying much considering Sonic 2 and 3 reuse plenty of sound effects that originated from Sonic 1. Again, to save time.
@@Melonposting Bruh. It's a sort of remake of the original, by adding extra features and rebalancing the game. So the creator named it DX, just like Sonic Adventure DX/Director's cut, that's it. Did you read the description?
