this was the most impressive thing I ever seen in my life in then realized it was tool assisted kinda burst my bubble :( but still awesome to watch I should have known it was humanly possible you would need the memory of an elephant and countless hours of practice to preform those combos shown in this video with no break or any slip ups
Lmao that's why we "old timers" before the 90's always said the best times for a gamer was decades ago. Why are these kids so butthurt lol replying to me with their bullshit.
Dude, nooo way on earth someone can be that good, you deserv an oscar for this..i hope Play Station can bring great street figther like one of these again..this was old good time
1st 10 mins and I already have blisters on my thumb.... Brings back so many memories trying to execute all those moves You on the other hand have mastered how to do the combos back to back, I had to spend weeks trying to getaway with the easy ones until my thumb blisters healed up and then blisters one more time... Such childhood..
I need a SFx+α on a new gen console so bad, it was soooo fun to play, and the impacts, the sound design, the exagerate flying like a dead leaf after in impact, it was incredible to play, great childhood memories! I need one more :D Oh and your TAS is incredible, well done Dowg Fury!
I'd just like to reiterate to the comment section that this is a TAS run. As in he is using an external program to assist him in performing these combos. These aren't a reflection of his own ability to perform these moves.
I spend lot of time maybe a couple of months for unlock theses characters, good memories i was 10 years old I'm proud of me. It was a the great period, you were able to unlock character by yourself
Well TAS means tool assisted speed run. So all of this you see in the video was done through a computer program, rather than being played by human hands on a PSone controller. Still impressive though.
EX worked really weird when it came to cancelling out low attacks into DP motions. Like, all of D.Dark's combo's need to be done doing a crouching SK (3x) ---> Kill Blade (DP) ---> Dark Shackle. Those combo's would always be so hard for me because I would always do a super instead. Something about the down then DP motions that just gave you a super with almost every character in the game. Really pissed me off sometimes.
O único problema desse jogo é que quando você faz o movimento que é pedido o mesmo não fica marcado como no Ex2, mas tirando isso é um ótimo jogo que ainda pratico até hoje.
I remember the struggle of doing this trial with a japanese game. I had to check the command list every now and then to compare what is written and randomly guess the other moves 😂
*Fun Fact:* Shoryuken literally means "Rising Dragon Fist". So, while Allen has moves you'd consider _Discount_ versions of Ryu's/Ken's moves: Soul Force = Hadoken Fire Force = Shinku Hadoken "Rising Dragon" is *Literally* Shoryuken
i always had the issue of when i was battling somebody i could pull off some crazy combos, but when it came to the training aspect i always struggled to pull off the last few combo builds with every character.
5 years later but whatever. Just an FYI. The idea of charge characters is that you'd be charging all the time. Going for a jump attack? Charge. Standing normal attacks? Charge. Crouching? Charge. Special moves? Charge. Guarding? You bet charge. Most moves require to hold either back/guard or down/crouch, so crouching guard means you charge for all moves. For standing actions only, you limit the option of charging for horizontal moves (so for Guile Sonic boom and not Somersault), while during basically all other actions you can charge for all moves. And of course get the timing down is tricky. 2 seconds is 2 seconds. You'll have to ask pros how they do it normally and whether they prefer doing motions over charge moves. I think they're rarely found outside Street Fighter series for good reason. From my experience, I'm terrible at it and prefer motions over them... but some of my favourite characters are charge based so when I play vs friends I fail constantly. Then again, it's not just because I suck with charge based :P
There are 4 more from a bonus disc. It's the 4 unlockable characters. Bloody Hokuto, Evil Ryu, Cycloid Beta, Cycloid Gamma. Good luck though because it's all in Japanese. [PSX] Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha [Promo CD] [SLPM-80149]
Prompt, as it is so easy to make a super combo from Guile, the same need to wait a few seconds. Maybe there are key bindings for super combos, who knows?
The inputs and the charge of the Flash Kick are used for the Super. You can charge down-back, up+Kick, and then do the motion of the Super without charging, if I remember this correclty. Maybe other inputs are valid, too.
