This speedrun is HELLA entertaining to watch. This game that took days to finish in my childhood days with my brother, you completed it shorter than my drive to work
I dont know why but the way you casually one shot everyone while tony hawking your way through every level while talking in the calmest manner possible is so funny to me, big respect though this is nuts
21:53-Fun fact, the P2K does the exact same thing if you fire just after taking off or putting on the silencer. I found that out by complete accident. 33:20-WHAT!? Wow, I would've never thought of that.
Yeah, I found that out by accident as well when using the P2K to kill the first chopper in Fire and Water from spawn. IIRC you can get the buffed fire rate constantly with one of the gold rewards?
Hey bro i was wondering, have you seen videos around RU-vid that show prerelease footage of ocarina of time? Those videos have a lot of unused content and that also reminded me of the video you made 5 years ago about the different versions of ocarina of time. Is it possible for you to get your hands on a prerelease copy of the game? You seem to be a rare hunter so I believe you can find a way to get that cartridge , if nintendo didn't get rid of them. One more thing before I go, can you possibly make a video showcasing all the different ocarina of time versions? I mean play them all to show us the differences in versions.
Thanks for the video, I had a ton of trouble completing this (In my older older days and also now.) But my brother completed it all, this speedrun gives me so much nostalgia. I cannot take it. Thanks a lot for reminding me of my older days. (Still stuck at Level 3 because I don't have a controller.) *UPDATE* I'm almost done with it, just a few more levels.
Back then, i have played nightfire and everything or nothing for hundreds of hours and to this very moment, i didn't even know, that this james bond game even existed
5:15-Also, I tried that trick on a whim normally playing AUF and it totally worked. I thought I messed it up and pulled out a normal gun, but to my surprise everything was blown up when I got it out. That's a REALLY awesome and easy trick to do once you know it.
A bit of luck and me being on a nightfire and agent under fire kick lately and I found this video. The things you can do this day and age frame by frame just tells me I suck at this game 😂. This was AWESOME and I enjoyed every moment. I think I got this game in about 2003 or 2004 when I was only about 6-7 years old and im still not that good at it 😂
James Bond No Time to Die movie plot :This TAS M : Bond, report to London for assignment, briefing in one hour. James Bond : But I am already saving the world by the minute. M : If you are not back on time, we'll pick a new 007 and something tells me you won't like it. James Bond : 00:00 - 37:12
I don't know the exact count, but A LOT. It was probably the most time consuming moment of the TAS, taking about three or four multi-hour sessions of work alone.
a very entertaining run, and helpful commentary. if you ever have to do a second recording, i think extra fun bits would be explaining the gold rewards for each level when you unlock them as well as explaining what teh gold PPK even does. that spin shot when taking out the hostage guys was slick :p
22:53 Well, except for the awesome music this level plays…that's great. I do wonder if weapons like the CH-6 and ACH-1 are able to be modded into multiplayer, though…does anyone know if that's possible? I assume they're only loaded in the missions they're used in or something.
I've never even played nor watched this game, and I found this TAS enjoyable to watch. Nicely done. I just had to look up what engine it was developed on (id3) after seeing the explosive jumping and bhopping lol
LMAO seeing this speedrun makes me laugh because back in the day I played through every level so slowly and methodically and observed every square inch of my surroundings, didn’t know some of the things you were doing in this game were possible💀😂
Ive been trying to get the levels to perfect scores. The best you can get is 300,000 so far i've gotten 9/12 of them. You should do a play through of that.
33:58 Jumps to the window , opens the door and jumps out of the window , shoots the sniper guy then dies and moans and the game still continues the mission 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's a TAS, played frame-by-frame with the ability to undo any mistakes, made much like a stop-motion animation. I hold a lot of real time records for the game too though, check out speedrun.com and search agent under fire for more info. Gamecube controller.
@@aleckermit I wasn't using the lotus I know that, I was on 00 Agent so maybe it was something to do with switching the weapons on the car or shooting something. It was a while ago, so I'll try it again.
aleckermit have been unable to replicate the trick. Maybe you have to jump at a frame perfect spot not to trigger the cutscene, or some other actions that skip it.
In Forbidden Depths, how does one get 100 bullets in the clip of KA-75S, or does that have something to do with a different platform, on my PS2 version I have 50 bullets.
aleckermit What I have noticed are these small things (taken from a thing I have done and update every now and then): -You can change difficulty in SELECT MISSION screen on GameCube. (Controls shown on screen indicate this) -GameCube version won’t show the loading icon between level segments. -PS2 version says “Target Score achieved” while GameCube version says “Medal Score achieved”. -Other console versions have bots.
If I remember correctly, it comes from the Golden Rocket Launcher award. All it does normally is increase the..."magazine" of the launcher in the first rail level (making it kinda useless when you never use it afterwards), but the magazine upgrade mysteriously applies to the KA and maybe the Shotgun too. Maybe it's a GameCube exclusive bug?
This was played at one frame at a time, with the ability to undo any mistakes. It's pure aim, no assists, but performed like stop-motion animation instead of in real-time.
How is it possible that you got enough points on Fire and Water to get the gold reward? I wish there was a second or two extra to see what it tallied up to
It's when you play a game frame-by-frame on an emulator with the ability to control inputs perfectly and undo any mistake in order to construct a virtually flawless speedrun without the limitations of human error and reaction time. Go to TASVideos.org for more information and an archive off all completed TAS's.
You gonna update the run? The human WR is 2 minutes faster.. I feel like the TAS should be better. Im not a TAS'er or i would.. could be something to get into though. I know this is 2 years old, but still! Speedruns never die
The two minute faster speedrun you're referencing is an outdated segmented run that used the in-game timing method, not real time as modern runs do. This TAS is actually four minutes and nine seconds faster than that run using in-game time and is the fastest completion of this game.
aleckermit so in reality it must take a lot of patience to play through the game by taking things 1 frame at a time! how long did this take you to play frame by frame?
