I've always admired someone who can carry the song all alone. Yeah she has loopers and things but it's still all her. Getting up on stage, and pouring your heart and soul out through your guitar is a dying art and she seems to be keeping it alive.
It's SO nice seeing young musicians who totally get it. This is not music designed in a boardroom for fashion to a 'demographic' but true and honest self expression. She's awesome. Great creativity which is what it's ALL about. Keep er rippin' Tash!!
@@LRgaming9669 totally agree, it's nothing then a show of on the pentatonic scale, people who have no clue about music or don't play an instrument a pretty easy to impress. There was not one meldoic part in it, or a build up etc. It sounded boring from the beginning.
@@LRgaming9669 I tend to agree with you, their are much better players then her but I have never met one who can play every damn instrument known to man. She just has her own style and kills it.
i am enjoying the fact that there are youngster out there that are enjoying an electric guitar solo, even if it may not be up to the standards required by some of the commentators below.
I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS. I USED TO LISTEN TO YOU ON ELIZABETH STREET AS AN OVERSEAS STUDENT IN MELBOURNE :) I'm so happy for you, I used to loose heaps of trams just to listen to you. What a phenomenon.. :) :) :) best of luck!!! keep strumming :D
D.B. hey, damibigd structured a sentence or two just fine... misspelled one word, a common misspelled word at that, but they did comment with 40-something words. You, however just "complained", using 9-10 words, and all have less letters, so You Lose this competition you seem to have engaged us in.
She is the most passionate performer! I have seen multiple concerts of multiple genres and no one has ever come close to having as much enthusiasm for their craft as Tash does. I've seen her live twice and I will continue to see her live as long as I am able
@Corpsi she plays almost every instrument, writes all her own music, loops everything in a 1 woman band, can beat box, has a great voice, has loads of passion. If that's not talent to you. Well... I'm speechless. See her live and you will change your mind instantly.
I just discovered her when I saw this video a couple days ago. I've been binge watching her videos and I became an instant fan. Her voice, playing, style, everything... I love it
nobody understands that tash doesn't perform to please others. every single performance she does is completely different, even if it's the same song. she uses it as an outlet. she uses her music to express her feelings and she speaks with her guitar and voice. if she wanted to be understood she would
This makes me want to...cry?? God I love Tash so much. Music is the only thing that makes me feel anything in this world and Tash makes me feel so so much.
When a guitar sounds like this, friends, the ancestors of rock and roll appear and dance with joy as ghosts of a world that no longer exists but which, however, somehow, live within this wonderful artist.
Now that's what I'm talking about, good to see her rocking the stage, it's what she was born to do. Brilliant, very talented lady, making us women proud 👍xxx
Never heard of her before but I love heavy rock and reggae in almost equal measure and this is a mighty fine example of both. Glad I landed on here by sheer accident.
I'm not speak english mais je vous trouve juste géniale , avec une puissance superbe , pas puissance musicale quoi que ^^mais les vibrations que cela fait quand on vous écoute ...magique et Bravo
why so much people are judging only about her skills?goddamn who gives a fuck, i see passion in this video, shes having fun with the crowd, they all feel the vibe and thats enough. meh peoples these days cant open their mind
It was the best of times, it was the bad moon raisinest of times; we could have prevented the ensueing hell, if we only would have known how bad those moon raisins were. No man should be that evil, and certainly no raisin. Those grapes were my family, those grapes were my friends, those grapes kept me alive in my darkest times, and now they're dead, THEY'RE ALL FUCKIN DEAD.
SHE!!!!! Tash Sultana (born 15th June, 1995) is an Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.[1] Described as a "one-woman band who brings new meaning to the concept of multi-tasking",[2] she is best known for her 2016 single "Jungle", which was voted into third place in the Triple J Hottest 100, 2016.
Wow this piece of art gives me goosebumps it’s one thing to b able to pay that guitar like that but to b able to loop your music while trying to play an instrument and sing is another hats off to her proper musician all her start to finish !!! Get up there girl #1
Yagor Skrabneuski Kinda autotune with alot of reverb and other vocal effects. I think u should just experiment with ALOT of vocal effect to recreate this
Great energy...she gives it up in front of a sea of people. As a musician I know most would choke with anything they had in mind. Weather or not you dig the solo has nothing to do with the fact that energy shes giving up and being returned from her audience is what makes it original. Rock On Tash...No one is you.
First time seeing this talented young woman.. question, did she ever do street performance before? If so I might have seen her up and coming... Boy this girl can ROCK&ROLL... I Think some of these folks are a wee bit jealous... wishing they could do what she can do... yes you are.. SHE BAD SHE BAD LALALALALALA... SHE GOT IT GOING ON... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK LITTLE SISTER😎
This is the scour in live shows nowadays... Maynard from Tool, a few days ago kicked out from his concert people who were with the phones. I don't really know if that's the way it should be done, but they're really annoying. Just to have a video that will probably sound shitty.
Can't believe all the rude insults! Is she supposed some unrealistic piece of perfection. So sad how everyone is so quick to say such hurtful, nasty insults. She is a beautiful soul sharing her passion... Rock on Tash!!! Know one is perfect... The vibe and feels you share with us is truly appreciated by many.
What I have concluded from these comments: knowing nothing about music makes it easier to be impressed by things that really require very little talent. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So damn sloppy. Oh well. I'm glad people can enjoy it, but for me (and apparently some other people) it's pretty annoying. lol. I think the reason why it's so powerful for people is because it's that same ol' E min I-VII-V-VI progression that so many songs (including Maggot Brain) use with a minor pentatonic with lots of note bends and wah over it. People are suckers for that. Maggot brain worked though because there was actually an amazing guitarist playing it.
It's all relative. To me, it's serious. To someone else, they probably don't give a shit. That's basically the difference. And yes, I know that was your attempt at a troll.
Why is it serious to you? I prefer myself the audio version of this music. But even if, a person more educated to have some judgement about music, find this music not very good, others can look after the emotion of the singer, and be glad from it. (and no! I'm not a troll ^^)
I've been looking for you for a long time since I listened to it many years ago. Very glad to come back to listen again. Love your song very much The beat makes my heart beat to the beat of the music
I'm personally not a huuuuuge fan of the auto tune because I think she has one of the best voices I've heard in a long time and it just seems unnecessary but I dig the performance. She's definitely bringing back old rock culture
yes david gilmour is an incredible musician but unfortunately his best time is behind him. be glad that a little bit what comes what keeps the old in honor 🤘🏽
To the haters: It doesn't matter if she is playing riffs that probably 100000 different guitar players know how to do, it's the fact that shes putting herself out there with emotional vulerability and killin it with what she has. That's what sets her apart
All this hate, seems to be coming from a place of insecurity. Guys, you gotta remember that being a performer is about more than just playing an instrument. This girl is doing so much right - she has excellent command of the stage, confidence, is connecting with the audience, and she is performing the heck out of her act as a solo young woman. To me this is very impressive. Sure, some of you guys in the comment section could have played a more musically sophisticated guitar solo. Who cares? Not this audience that's for sure.
