Daisy losing her shit with Herring is one of the greatest TV moments of all time. It's like every family board game night - someone's going to lose it and go to bed early.
Katherine is so unintentionally funny, especially with Alex. The way she steps aside to give him plenty of room to tip the barrel 🤣 and her casual use of how are "we" going to solve the task.
I'd never heard of Mawaan before this series but he quickly became my favourite. Just adore his joyful cheeky boy energy. Plays off Richard and Daisy's competitiveness so well.
Johnny and Sian play tour bus driver and tour guide in an adorable series of mysteries, and the characters are also romantically involved. The lego figures are dressed like them in their bus uniforms.
As much as I'm not big on Series 10, I think this is one of the best episodes of the show. All of the tasks are very good (silent cocktails is one of my favourites) and the live task is iconic.
There is a Champion of Champions 2 for you to watch but it didn't actually come out until after Series 13 (or 14, I'm not certain which) because they waited for covid restrictions to lift. So you could watch it next but it might not be listed as next in order because of that. I believe it was also after S10 that the first New Years Treat episode aired so that's next, which will then be a recurring thing every 2 series (because we get 2 per year).
I wrote this comment out once, but it doesn't seem to have stuck: I was saying thanks for the insight that one-way mirrors work based on light. I once asked an astrophysics professor who knew all about the physics of light to explain to me why certain walls of my fish tanks seem to be mirrored from certain angles, but the answer he attempted to give was nowhere near as simple and obvious as the surface appears mirrored based on relative light. Thank you for finally giving me that information.
David Bodycombe is a writer who's done a lot of work for various quiz shows, including Only Connect and Tom Scott's Game On and original Lateral quiz show. (Tom Scott has two separate shows both called Lateral, which can be confusing.) He's been involved in question writing for lateral thinking puzzles, and also in game design. And I'm _certain_ that I saw him say (on Reddit?) that he came up with the silent cocktail task.
The cocktail task is up there as of my favourite tasks of all time. It's such a simple idea but it's so entertaining. I honestly think I want all their shouted words in your TM intros now. "I LOVE THIS!" Something I haven't mentioned about this series, but as the next series (series 11) came out, I did some artwork designing contestants from series 10 & 11 as Lego Minifigures (using software called Lego Digital designer, then editing over top). I've kept it up, designing the 5 contestants from series 10 through to 16, and I'm part way through 17 which aired a few months ago now. It brings me joy trying to capture contestants in minifig form, with accessories representing tasks. I thought I'd mention this now, since Johnny brought in Lego for his prize, plus for my design of Mawaan I gave him Bin Juice accessories (glass, bucket, chalkboard sign). I hope one day Lego Ideas selects a set of the TM house, there was one a little while back that was up for consideration and I thought it'd be picked when Alex & a future contestant appeared on a Christmas special of Lego Masters UK. There's so many US tv show Lego sets from Ideas (Big Bang Theory, The Office, Friends, Seinfeld, Queer Eye) in comparison we've only had one UK show Doctor Who made into an Ideas set (plus Lego Dimensions), I feel like we're deserving of another.

I don't know if you can use the bucket, but throw all the ingedrients into the bucket mix it up amd throw the bucket i the glass BOOM cocktail, and you don't have to worry about being too loud Edit I wrote it down before Mawaan actually did it too
