In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). @@baxterboy123ytIf you have a Quest-line headset, try wiping the external lenses with a soft cloth. Hopefully you don't have scratches on them...

I have great news: the description says "Play the tasks or create your own" We still have to wait to see how the sandbox mode will work. It's a very different concept compared to, say, Mario Maker, but I'm hopeful (given that it's very multiplatform) that there'll be some thought given to its use.

This could either be amazing or very bad, mostly depending on how the scoring is implemented, as the entire beauty of Taskmaster is the random subjective decision making throughout, which is entirely opposed to the concept of scripting an actual set of criteria. I really want this to be a highly functional sandbox for you to live out your own Taskmaster games with friends, because it has golden potential there, and hopefully it's not just a series of minigames or a glorified marketing demo.

There are moments even in this trailer where the sort of flickering shaky motion of the on screen hand avatars, is indicative of a really badly programmed user interface. The fact that they couldn’t get enough footage that didn’t have that in it, worries me. I wasn’t going to get it because VR makes me feel sick, but I wouldn’t pre-order if you are thinking of doing so, wait for the reviews to come out. I really do think this is going to flop harder then Taskmaster USA from being too buggy to read precise hand movements.

@@touma-san91 only if you've got a PC with good enough specs; most PSVR owners are obviously doing their gaming on console, so PC compatability isn't likely to help the majority - they'd need a port instead.

I wouldn’t hold your breath. As a developer the psvr2 would be the last thing I’d consider development for right now based on the news. While the Bloomberg report is considered sketchy by some, pair that with Sony killing off their big VR studio in London and it starts to paint the picture that VR isn’t doing so well for Sony. Safest bets to get your money back and become profitable is steam and meta. Once they have successful profitable launches with those, then they could look at PSVR2 if it won’t cost them a lot to port it.

Been wanting a game, but an issue with either VR or games in general is the brightness and how alone you can feel while playing. All the scenes from this preview seemed to be set to Fulbright with no shadows, basic coloring, and you are the only being in existence

I’m not very happy personally. They had steam and meta both listed for going live today. The meta version launched just fine but the steam version has now changed to not having a launch date. Radio silence from all involved far as I can see. Kind of things that push me to sit on a game until it goes on sale. Was willing to buy it for full price today.

Love the idea, but the game needs online multiplayer or at least Task sharing! was so happy to read the game includes an editor to make your own tasks, but seems like a major missed opportunity not to be able to share those creations online then and let people compete in them.
