Hi Jimmy, thanks for the question. I used 42g heavy minnow in this video which can help you make a decent cast. The thing I’m trying to do is to make the fish see my lure in the water especially during a windy day and rough weather and make the fish angry to hit the lure. Based on my very short King catching experience, minnows are doing a better job imitating a real mackerel. Hopefully it helps.
