You don't need a different bar code to fill the cup: once the refillable pod has stopped dispensing and the light is still flashing, just press and hold the button and it will continue to dispense more to fill the cup up.
at 4.47, did I hear right? You get the proper temperature of the water for Tea? All that hassle to get hot water? Do you not have Kettles in North America? Here in the UK, I must have been doing something wrong in the last 40 years of making cups of tea through a kettle!!!! Now I know there's an art about boiling hot water!! LOL!!
The thing is....if you only want one cup of tea the Tassimo is not that bad.... however if you have limescale better use a kettle. We got the Tassimo as a present and I use it mainly for its not half bad 'Latte Macchiatto' But at least you can hack it so its not that bad for the environment....I guess...😅
In case you’re not aware, the tassimo can vary the temperature of the water in addition to the volume of water. Different coffees and teas have different water temperatures. Some kettles boil the water too high for optimal tea or coffee brewing results. Plus single cup brewing of your own using reusable pods is better for your hydro bill and the environment as other commenter said
There is no single original bar code. Just buy the coffee you like and cut out the bar code. The bar code also tells the tassimo how much water to pass through
I got one a couple of weeks ago , can recommend - it's a bit of additional scooping and rinsing but it's already paid for itself , it's nice to be able try different grounds . I got the silicone lid type and it was 220 something ml
