Tassimo T40 Fidelia: Coffee maker Review

+Bleakunending Yeah depends on what you want from the coffee, if it was just for coffee I probably wouldn't get a tassimo but as it does hot chocolate etc as well I went for it. It does tea but I don't really see the point in that, as I like tea quite strong and supposedly it's low-medium strength with the machine.

I guess the only big difference then is that the T40 has the bigger water tank on the back.

+Francesca Patton It depends which cartridge you are using and if you are adding milk. The machine doesn't boil water as coffee is meant to use hot but not boiling water. If you make a black coffee it should be hot enough, but if you are adding milk you will need to heat the milk first.

Should I heat the water first? They are almost cold coming out - the pods I have has come with milk cartridges so I have water in the tank at the back

+Francesca Patton Sounds like there might be a problem with your machine then, what happens if you use the hot water disc that comes in the back?

It comes out hot towards the end but cold in the beginning of the cycle which isn’t even leaving it hot just slightly warm

+Francesca Patton Your machine is faulty then, get a replacement or a refund.

Yeah I think it's the machine building pressure, a friend has a Nespresso machine and it does the exact same thing.
