As an italian in Italy I am here enjoying my common italian food W even before you start trying the snacks. Even processed italian food is better than the american, you should come visit 😁❤️
I agree with you guys those Tac crackers are delicious but Hailee's face when she smell and taste the cheese was so funny and when it was time for the Fonzies she let it touch her tongue but she didn't want to take a bite until Kendra said she must🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you guys should do more taste test cuz your reaction is priceless loveit🤣❤️

Hi from italy. First things first, your italian is not that butcher-y. We have a different way to combine vowels and the way you end the words is... uniquely yours, but yours is at least understandable. Trust me, we're more glad you enjoyed(well, at least honestly tried) our snacks than for any kind of mispronunciation you could ever do, I'd rate yours 6 and a half out of 10 ;) Second, when i saw the fonzies on the table and you complained how the tuc was cheesy... sorry, i cracked laughing HARD. It's fun for us your choice of favorites, we don't have school cafeterias in neither middle or high school and our recess is like 10-20 minutes, just enough time to scarf down one or two snacks(and/or a vending machine coffee if high school) and everybody growing up had either fonzies or taralli during recess, of all you tried those are the guaranteed ones to be found in any school population sample. Cannot wait for part two, salute! (we pronounce the E at the end of the words the same as the E in elephant fyi)
We tried our best!! 😂 we know our school systems are very different and our pronunciation is far from perfect, but we had a lot of fun trying all those snacks! As an Italian citizen I can tell you, the stuff you tried there really is available in every supermarket throughout the country, yet of all the people I know nobody has ever tried any of these more than once. For most of these you have to invent a new word below junk food.
The only thing that could have made this any better was having your Italian friend pronounce the words after you attempted, so we could hear how horribly you messed it up haha.
We did think about that, but she didn't want to take over any attention/time from the actual video itself 😊 she was just happy to provide the snacks and have us try those lol

@@HaileeandKendra Sweet snacks - Tim Tam, Milo, Fairy bread, Lamingtons, Freddo Frogs, Carmello Koala, Pods, Fantales, Caramel slice, Violet Crumble, Picnic, Anzac Biscuits, Mint Slice, Wagon Wheels, Minties, Cherry Ripe, Pavlova, Kit Kat, Iced Vovo. Savoury snacks - Vegemite, Cheesymite scroll, Shapes, Meat pies, Sausage rolls, Cheezels, Burger Rings, Cheese and bacon roll, Red Rock Deli chips, Dim sims, Chiko Rolls, Damper bread, Kangaroo. I hear a few of these can be found in the US, but don't taste the same as the originals. Tim Tams are great by themselves, but Tim Tam slam is amazing and can be done by biting off the ends and using it as a straw in Milo, hot chocolate, or coffee. Vegemite can be used in just about anything, but if put on toast, use a small amount with a lot of butter/margarine. Anzac Biscuits are more like your cookies, than your biscuits. Don't ask where Pavlova originated, it starts arguments between Aussies and New Zealanders. Meat pies are also something that the Southern neighbours argue about. Damper bread could possibly be more like your biscuits. I've never tried kangaroo, the smell turns me off.

It's not rude, don't worry, but everyone will think you're pretty clumsy. It's better to open them like you did with the "lime e pepe rosa" and "cipolla" flavored ones. Kendra, I'm sorry, but this is the sad truth: apart from some kinds of peppers, you will find very hard to find very spicy Italian food, like Indian or Mexican, apart from the ones coming from some very specific places. Italian flavors usually combine not only with each other when you eat them, but also with what you might eat next. Very spicy food means risking to "waste" the flavor of the food you might eat afterwards. Especially if you're going to eat something sweet afterwards (so sweets or fruits). And this means that Italian cuisine has developed very little around spicy food. Of course, this does not mean that Italians do not like spicy food. It's just that you won't find it in a "traditional" Italian restaurant. Hailee, you're right: Italians put a lot more emphasis on the crunchiness of the snack than on the flavor. There are lots of chips that do not have a different flavor, from the classic ones, but different crunchiness. A good Italian snack should always be crunchy. If it's not, it means it's very poorly made or very old. Last thing. Fonzies once had a slogan about what to do, after eating them, that is very similar to one of your pick up lines: "Fonzies... se non ti lecchi le dita, godi solo a meta!" that means "Fonzies... if you don't lick your fingers, you only half enjoy them!".🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can't wait for the second part. As someone who doesn't like spicy hot things, but lives in a country that has gotten *TOO* obsessed by them (the US), I love the Italian's view and approach! It should be there to compliment, not overpower and taint everything else that comes after. I can appreciate that some peppers do have a genuine flavor hiding behind the absurd heat they deliver, but I feel like it would be a genuinely GREAT service to humanity, to either develop a way to remove the capsaicin (like, how coffee is decaffeinated), *_or,_* cultivate it out of them. That's just my 2¢ though... Lastly, I think Italians would love our "Kettle" style of potato chips! They have soooo much crunch 👍👍 I prefer the actual *_Kettle_* brand of kettle-style chips, as I find them to both have a better crunch, and a better quality flavor. Like for Salt & Vinegar between _Lay's_ kettle-style vs _Kettle_ brand, there's just *no* comparison! 😘👌
We can confirm that our italian bestie does enjoy "kettle" style chips, she's enjoying a lot of the things she's trying (even though she thinks most of the food is weirdly sweet!) 😁 it has been a fun food/cultural exchange lol
