All grain BIAB brewer here, the device looks great for someone interested in the hobby but doesn’t want to nerd out and go ‘all in’. Looking at getting one of these for my father in law this christmas

Well, like John said, you gotta shake the unit! This seems to have worked out better than the igulu device based on your review. I will say that stout/porter sometimes comes out “better” than a pale beer with these type things regardless of the system. Based on what I see, the Pinter is a much less involved and better option for a 1 gallon batch. It does seem to be limited based on temp control but that’s no different than a bucket or pet fermenter. Anyway, interesting video, thanks for the honest review. Cheers from Uxbridge.

I want to see a small batch all grain in the Pinter! Please 🙏 I looked everywhere on RU-vid and didn’t see any.

Yes! I too enjoy seeing if/how some of these ultra simplistic "beginer" systems can be adapted for more creative and advanced brews. 🤞

I watched only because it'll give you props. I'm not a fan of this, i think it would scare more away than bring them into the fold. Way to expensive. But, some may want something like this. I do understand that.

As a former marketing exec I understand why the company sent you the system to evaluate. But those of us that watch your channel we are way beyond this entry level concept. This is more of a Sharper Image item for someone that just wants to tell their friends they brewed their own beer. Cool concept, but too expensive. And most importantly, IMO, it doesn't get you to the heart of why we brew. I remember my mom taking me into the Olympia Brewing Company in about 1968 for the free tour (divorced parent looking for something to stimulate her kids) and the aroma of the malt and hops took hold of me forever. It would be another 9 years before I could legally drink, but that experience led me to home brewing. Thanks for your efforts, Cheers!

Remember, if you want to keep the warranty on the Pinter, you have to buy their over priced kits. For the same price you can get and all rounder with pressure kit and a decent extract kit for your first brew. Without being tied in to paying what $3 -4 per pint with the "fresh presses".

One of our brewclub's members was given one of these for review. He's an award-winning all-grain brewer and the two beers he made with this thing were awful. The worst beers I've ever sampled at a club meeting.
