I only tried fasting food in Ethiopia once and it wasn’t my favorite. It’s basically Vegan food. Definitely the regular food is the best 😂❤️

Kenyan Sisters, you are great!.. At first, I thought you are Ethiopian Girls (from southern part). You already got Ethiopian look. -- Myself Ethiopian 🇪🇹 . But, because of high food prices, I can tell I am ashamed of Ethiopia. -- In India, one meal costs $2.5. But, it costs $4.5 to have an inexpensive meal in Ethiopia.-- In Ethiopia, either restaurants aim at high Profit Margins or there is high production cost or rental cost. The Government should take corrective measures.

That's the Kenyan mentality. We like cooking dishes that take little time to make, maybe why our food is limited

Hellow queen Desta!!Although it is very nice to watch you two beautiful sisters injoying Ethipian platter as an Ethiopian i highly recommended for you to try Ethiopian traditional food at ADDIS ABABA TRADITIONAL RESTURANT which is located at AROUND SAINT GEORGE ORTODOX CHURCH "DEGACH WEBEA SEFER STREET"Not very far from central PIASSA "The main city center" The Resturant is very traditional and homey and being there for many decades since i know and The food is very Autentic and delicious with very original unchanged Ethiopian cusine and the price is much affordable than any price you are paying around where you are living.i hope you will try and injoy it.

Not spinach it's Collard greens. Tomato in amharic is Timatim. Ater=chickpeas Meser=lentils Suf=Sunflower Keysir(red thing) = red beets. The one next to the shiro(ground chic peas paste) looks like zucchini mixed with carrots stir fry.

The red one is" BEETROOT AND POTATO"in amharic "KEY SIR ANA DINICH ALICHA" which is a cold veggie side made of onion garlic beetroot potato and jalapeno pepper. The green ones are mostly made of swiss chard and collard greens with onion and garlic and jalapeno It is called "YE GOMEN ALICHA" The beans used to make the "ALICHA FITFIT IN AMHARIC"Is non split yellow beans "OR IT IS CALLED DIFIN ATER ALICHA FITFIT"which is made of blanched and cooked yellow or soy bean mixed with onion and jalapeno peppers black or white pepper as a cold side dish socked with injera. The yellow and mushy ones are split yellow beans made of Yellow split beans onion garlic tumeric and jalapeno peppers and other white spices are optional..on the right side which your sister said is cold and like it is called "Ye SUF FITFIT" is made of rostd and grounded sun flower seed juice mixed with chopped onion jalapeno and sometimes with nicely chopped tomato too nicely socked with injera. The other one is ziccuni and carrot or cabbage and carrot made with onion tumeric garlic jalapeno and sometimes with tomato too other white spices are optional Which is Generally called "YE ATIKILT ALICHA"The one in the middle is "MISIR WOT"made of split red lentil and you already know SHIRO😊 i hope you got some hint now Desta i've tried as much as i could even though i'm not a fan of my cultural food anymore due to health reason😊But it is sad to see thoug some servers in Addis don't speak good enough english to explain for new people who had never experience eating Ethiopian food.i wish them all to speak English.wishing a wonderful family time for both of you😊💕💕❤
