They look a little bit jaboticaba-ish. Apparently they are in the Myrtaceae family, too. 😋

zuditaka yes! Luma (Amomyrtus luma) is a chilean specie from the myrtle family :)

Kevin have you tried the juice with out the skin, and seeds. Would the juice leave a sweet taste ?

That looks more like Luma Chequen to me. Apiculata is supposed to have better tasting fruit than Chequen.

It looks like apiculata, the leaves of chequen are a bit different. I have both in my garden.

Do you know the Zone hardiness? I'm in Cleveland zone 6B. I'm sure I could just Google it, lol.

I am not sure but I suspect that Cleveland is probably too cold for it
