Can anybody tell me how old this plant needs to be to beable to get fruit?

They look a little bit jaboticaba-ish. Apparently they are in the Myrtaceae family, too. 😋

Kevin have you tried the juice with out the skin, and seeds. Would the juice leave a sweet taste ?

That looks more like Luma Chequen to me. Apiculata is supposed to have better tasting fruit than Chequen.
