​@@SpareWheelOfficialbasically its an outsourced unit ..... Developed in joint coloboration , homogenised for high heat Indian condition. Secondly, this engine was not introduced to keep the cost factor in check , also heard that it will need a bit of modification to handle extra power of turbo engine. Tata may bring it with new GDI TURBO Engine. Normal present turbo might be discontinued. ( new GDI turbo might come in 2 state of tune 110 bhp and 125 bhp for racer edition)

What is the real life mileage of this DCA version?

@@Surendra_suni m getting very low 8-9 on mid but need to check real mileage. I think initially milage will be low till engine piston adjust, need to review after 1000kms

If Resale and Service time is not a problem, get Altroz. If you can spend more for premiumness, i20 is a good car. I will pick Altroz, but I know TATA service is a pain sometimes.

Peteol hi theek hai. Kabhi kabhi jane me mileage ka dukh nahi hota jyada. Roz jane me hota hai.

Haan but Pagdi mila ke meri height 6 ft ban jaati hai, to us vajah se 6 ft ke liye kam hai. Otherwise 5.5-5.10 tak no issues. Also, thode aage hokar baithe to kaafi hai, main test karte samay peeche tak hoke baithta hu.

I honestly hate it, but that has been the case with many other cars as well. I like the car very much and will probably buy it in future, but yeah, locking mechanism isn't good. However, all companies recommend using child lock at rear seats and no company suggest placing children at front seats. So, when used properly, issues aren't much of a problem.

Door locks is not a problem, they are designed for safety. In case of an accident doors don't get locked and with the lever you can open and come out. It is mandatory to have kids on back seat with child locks ON so no chance of accidental door opening.🙏 If I am not wrong its requirement of 5 star safety.

My personal favourite is Ritz. Tiago and i10 are also excellent choices. I would advise you to take test drives of a few cars on OLX to find what drives the best according to you. Ritz and i10 are a bit tall. Tiago is more comfortable in long drives. I feel like Ritz and i10 are easy to drive in city traffic. All three cara are good, but Tiago has low resale value so you won't be able to sell it for good price because higher number of owner decreases the price.

Boht mushkil question hai bhai. Wait karo for new TATA engines. I will say Altroz is sporty and Punch is fun to drive. Punch is easy to use car. If your need a car mostly for city, get Punch. If your max usage is on Highway, get Altroz.

Near the gearbox its the mode button. Autolock happens but at the same time, it can be opened if we pull the lever with more power.

Bhai go with tata or mahindra cars. Safety wise good and maintenance wise not heavy on pockets. If maintenance is not your concern vw or skoda are very good.

It needs better tuning. My friend's altroz is very silent. All he did was RPM adjistment. Also, new RDE engines are very smooth. Check them out.

Apke saare points pe baat kar lete hain- "agar chalti car me gate khul jaaye..." Kyu khulega bhai gate? Koi samajhdar Adult to kholega nahi. And bacche piche bithao child lock and ISOFIX ke sath. Bacche aage bitha ke aap apne hi i20 wale point ko galat kar rhe ho. I do not like this latch, but Slavia mein bhi I think same Latch aata hai. It enables auto door unlock in case of accidents. Nexon and Altroz's diesel engines are very good. Punch's petrol engine+AMT is very nice. Maruti/Hyundai engine are good, but TATA is not crap. Bina baat toxic rehna hai, fir to kuch hai hi nahi TATA me. Market me niklo, TATA ke purane 1405cc TDI engine dekh ke aao. 3 lakh kilometers tak chale hue milenge. Lets talk safety- "sacrificing your child’s safety for your own by opting for Altroz in the name of safety" Hahahahahahaha, best line. Bhai, Hyundai/Maruti me ho kya? But acchi baat hai log safety points pe dhyan dete hain. ❣ In child score, i20 scored 36 out of 49 points. Altroz scored 29 out of 49 points. 73% in i20, 59% in Altroz. Almost twice nahi hua ye. Aise case me main to solid car pe hi trust karunga. People can surely buy other cars for features. Nobody is asking me and nobody can stop them. But I prefer TATA/Mahindra/VW/Skoda cars for everyone just because of safety. I recommend TATA/Mahindra only because European cars are very expensive to maintain. @@SpareWheelOfficial I made some fair points (facts) 1. Stupid lock unlock latch 2. Worse engine/gearbox options compared to competitors 3. Lower child safety score. And apart from these I didn’t mention anything else as the car is pretty great otherwise and even terms of features I didn’t make a point as I think for the price it offers pretty nice suit of features. I think the only person here being “TOXIC” is you Sir, the way you came attacking on me. It’s not about which car is better for whom as there are a hundred more points one can make regarding pros and cons of either vehicle. It is a fact that people like you look down upon other people who chose any other car and that my good Sir is “TOXIC” behaviour.

But since I do most videos on TATA, I regularly see a trend of hatred against brand with vague reasons. Do you know TATA and Mahindra engines (1.5L Nexon and XUV300/2.2L Safari, Hexa and XUV500) were tuned by same company? These are literally very similar engines with some parts being same. AVL Austria tune engines for them. But social media has stamped TATA car with truck engines and claim Mahindra cars with same NVH to be refined. That's toxic. Yes you did not say it sounds like truck, but we will talk about engine bit in a moment. Coming to previous comment- 1. I also agreed I did not like that latch. 3. I also nowhere said Altroz is better than i20 in features. Hyundai is the best company when it comes to overall feature execution. Coming to 2.- you changed your statement. It went from 'worst' to 'worse'. I nowhere said in comment or in video that Altroz has best engine. All I said is it isn't outright bad. And that is another topic for discussion/video. Funfact- do you know Altroz iTurbo is very close in performance with i20 Turbo? Despite big difference in numbers and weight. I am not toxic to people who buy other cars. I love all cars. You have comments on other videos too, so I will not say you haven't watched my other videos, but i always praise the strengths of vehicle- be it engine, refinement, features, strength or value. Done the same in this video- strength and value. Watch some Hyundai or Maruti video. Strength is a concern for me, but never said "dont buy this" except for Celerio or S-Presso. I love all cars and you, me and everyone can have an opinion. I only counter when I feel the base of the claim isn't very strong.
