Haha, agar youtube/facebook comments read karke car kharidte hai to aaj indian roads will be full of tata altroz . But reality is that tata cars are most preffered car in youtube only. If someone is investing 8/9 lakhs then first that person will talk to some friends who own cars and has experience then visit showroom and test drive. And then purchase. Isiliye tata ka gari etna dikhta nahi hai kyunki jo lene wala hota hai wo soch samaj ke leta hai. Comments me tata accha hai bolne se nahi hota hai

Although, i-Turbo has severely improved the acceleration of Altroz petrol But instead of Turbo petrol, it could've got a higher state of tune for the diesel engine with 110ps 260Nm 6 Speed Manual

@@nitishgoel3969 i20 platform is shared by creta and Seltos. Seltos being more premium and sturdy nearly managed 3 stars with unstable chassis. I20 max 3 stars at best.
If you hit a pole with 180kmph with train even...you would die, that's the thing.... And I20 has better buildquality and safety fetures than altroz tho
0-100 really doesn't matter when we drive on Indian roads and seeing the traffic conditions. What matters is safety and ride comfort. I don't think i20 can beat tata in both parameters.
Point is not that. Point is buy tata be real indian and we need to be self reliant in the maximum possiblity. We need to understand buying rolls royce, mercedees like cars is a total waste. Because we give money to foreigners. We cannot produce oil it is naturally occuring and we cannot instantly become self reliant but we can choose tata over foreign cars. I have tata altroz and im proud.
@@SIDDHARTH972 i went to tata showroom and mahindra both in my city and both were not at all good with behaviour they made me feel like they are not interested on selling car to me. Then i went to Ford their staff was on another level had good experience from them and ended up buying ecosport. Then tell did i do anything wrong?
I had already know who will be win. Hyundai doesn't known for driving dynamics, by far they're worst in it. Tata did great job only engine in big stigma.
Then y hyundai sells more then tata ,are buyers mad ? I only heard that there driving dynamics are worst in social media no one told me in real life it has worst even my close friends have i20,they never regret their decision to buy hyundai ,only issue is they get low mileage everything is fine steering feedback is good ,not like how people tell in social media , my etios also have good feedback but underpowered engine
@@praveenbadagi4285 Social media are the worst place to find out about a car's driving dynamics. Unless you are driving that car for yourself you won't figure out how it drives. Saying these because sometimes media houses can be biased too. And people buy Hyundai because they are reliable and have good sales and after sales service. Tata though being there for so long couldn't establish itself as a reliable brand till now. Everyday someone or the other is complaining about some issue or the other. Like a guy's new Harrier with only 15k kms on odo was leaking engine oil. Then there was another incident where the rear axle of a Tiago just came off on the highway. And Tata Motors service centers are the worst place to visit. They treat you like your slaves or you are doing them a favor same goes for the showroom guys. They are not interested selling you a car. And Hyundai is known for good quality cars with ton of features. So that's why people buy Hyundai cars because they are more value for money. But Tata is doing well let's see what happens in future. But they still can't take the right decisions yet. They had to tune this engine for more power it just makes a 110hp what's the use of that?

Motorbeam has done a mosse test (i.e handling test) which is very rare in India. This is what an automobile journalism should be. Instead of saying features and tech, they should do drag race, in gear acceleration and handling. Keep it up Motorbeam. Next time in your, include handling test or mosse test in all cars including SUVs to check their handling. Excellent job Motorbeam 👏 👍.
Moose test where ? I could see a they did a Slalom at slow speed.Moose test involves a lane change at a reasonably high speed. Watch km77 channel to see how it is done.
Even in blindfold when u open the door u can easily recognize the tata altroz due to it's build quality, ruggedness and thug effect when closing the door. Tata rocks.

In acceleration test, Altroz reaches 60 in 5.9 sec and i20 in 5.3 (65 at 5.9) I think, this acceleration difference made i20 fail the breaking test. The speed it gained was more, so distance to stop could be more as well.
@Aditya Singhai let me tell you things in detail. Currently altroz only comes in manual as altroz's bay is too small for automatic transmission. And tata is currently testing dual clutch 7 speed transmission which will make its debut on next generation of altroz and the new tata hbx will also launch with dct from day 1.

@@SuperAnirudh111 being a polo owner I highly doubt that i20 have achieved the handling and torsional rigidity of polo... Koreans are still not on par with German engineering... But can't tell about altroz though as Tatas has JLR a European with them... ALFA platform has a significant help from JLR team...
Yes Altroz is better in all terms.. The only thing Altroz is lacking behind is reliability. Sad to say it but a noticeable number of Altroz owners are facing many issues.. It would be nice if these reviewers cover those points as well.. And make the manufacturer's to produce their best in the first lot itself..

i20 is the better car as a package but altroz is value for money if u can live with tata's renowned After sales services !! And one thing i have noticed after owning Tiago for 4 years is despite good built quality Tata cars don't age well as in small problems keep on proping up paint quality is not good , dashboard rattles etc etc!!
It's good to see tata altroz with it's amazing performance with heavy build quality. I bet if i20 was having same build quality then it would have taken 15 seconds to reach 100 speed
From all angles i20 sharp edges and creases look more beautiful and eye catching form factor, for Altroz I must say "practicality" and i20 design with nice turbo implant.
suprisingly i didnt expect tata altroz to be better than hyundai i 20 but here tata is better in most of the tests expect tata is lacking in power because it has to carry more weight for safety , well done tata🤩

@@atharvakashiva1467 I am a fan of Tata cars. I wish it could be little more cheaper here in Nepal. It costs 45 lacs rupees (28 lacs INR!) on road in Biratnagar for the top variant. Tata cars are so expensive here.
The main problem here is altroz is only available in manual and i20 is only available with an automatic and an iMT so manual buyers will go for altroz and automatic for i20. I dont think anybody will go for iMT 😂😂
Well..I'll choose Tata Altroz, anyday over i20.. although I already have a car..but Tata cars have really improved a lot..apart from its best raw materials now it's even great in the design, engine & handling aspect..abhi mere ghar k samne me hi 2 Altroz new li ha..dekh kr bas lalach aa rha ha..
i 20 has more width and lower ground clearance that makes it more stable and it does not roll on curves. I guess rest depends on who is driving. I have driven both the cars and after a lot of tests driving them as an engineer and an auto enthusiasts. Except for the price i20 was the best and eventually bought it. But my second option after i20 was and will always be Tata Altroz.
Now chance I 20 is lighter then altroz it can easily loss traction as compare to altroz only low slung doesn't play role in stability at high speeds the car which is will be heavier that will be gud at handling at high speeds
@NishantSharma-rj8cv even the base variant i20 comes with a spoiler so at higher speeds the car gets a better grip... I have been driving it on longer routes and I feel confident with its stability.
So Altroz Minded That he cant Even bend his body to fit the i20 though there were lots of space under his feet....another thing ,For sure I20 is wider though maybe its hight is a bit lower for which it gets lesser boot capacity....

I don't know much about drivability aur any brake feel and all because i driven many cars but I've been a passenger in a lots of vehicles and i cannot stress more on the fact how planted and stable tata cars are and how well they filter through undulations even on a triple digit speed it stays rock solid
