Home charger installation is being done by Tata Power. But they gave offloaded to third party installers like Airconditoners who make mess of things. Earthing is extremely important, you cannot charge where earthing is not proper. Tatapower is very slow in installation jobs. Takes 3 to 4 days time. I had written to Tatapower for a hua but their is no response. This lack lustre attitude will definitely cause problems for them. Central govt is not doing any planning to install fast chargers at different locations. Neither state govt but everyone wants to push sell of EV and scrap vehicles 15 years old. Central govt can not force the auto manufacturers to stop production of petrol and diesel vehicl s as the lobby is very strong. Even the vehicle manufacturers like Tata motors are not doing justice to their commitment of serving the customers. At our place the dealer is having a makeshift arrangement for charging , earthing is done by wrapping on a earth rod, connected to a wooden extension board. By looking at it you will get dejected and decide otherwise. The nearest charging station is 200 km from my place. What to do. Electricity is not free. Written to govt, ministry, tatamotors, Tatapower but all are remaining silent as their lacunae are highlighted.

True. There is no coordination between Tata motors and Tara power. 7.5 ke charging station ghar pe lagana mushkil hai average Indian home pe. Except rich bungalows and Villa 3.3 kw charger is possible. This the manufacturer must keep in mind. Average customer is happy if battery gets charged in 6 to 7 hours.
One the Best video on Tiago EV. Cover all types of Charger. Pls suggest my budget is limited & daily commute is 100-120km. Should I go for Tiago EV Base Variant.

You can only carry 16amp charger while travelling which I showed in video’s end, available in boot. MCB 3.3 kw charger is to install at home only & both will be available with car.
1. 16A vs 3.3Kw practically not much difference right ? Even 16A x 220V ~ 3.3 Kw. Only the mcb switch is additional. 2. In case of commercial charging points ( 7.2 Kw or 30 kw) : do we need to specify before starting charge or it automatically deducts the calculated amount after reaching 100%. We need not manually calculate required units / time / rupees worth of charge needed. Once it reaches 100% it should cut off automatically. 3. Will there be a range difference if 3.3 kw is used regularly vs 7.2 being used regularly. 4. Can we buy just the charger (16a/3.3kw) additionally: that way I can leave one plugged in one socket at home and carry one in boot. (Need not remove and place back in car everytime)

Bhai tu life me kabhi ev nhi le payega chahega bhi to ye to pakki baat h. Tesla 500 ki range deti h oor 30 lakh ki hai USA me oor tuje 500 ki range 10 lakh se kam me chahye India me jaha raw materials hi nhi h battery banane ke. In my opinion if we get 300 km practical range in 11-12 lakh thats perfect.
Wait for another 5 years, aeroplane will fly with two suitcase size battery. Research is going on and this is the predication. If you want to use EV any time is suitable else intajar karte rah jaoge.
