I love the Tatcha deep cleanse but the water cream feels less hydrating and more of something that sits on the surface. Perhaps the wow factor was displaced because I had already committed to another moisturizer. I just ordered the rice polish and I'm excited to try that.

I have the Tatcha peony eye cream and I do love the texture and experience but it does seem a bit more topical vs truly moisturizing.

That is a GREAT way to explain it! Without a doubt the Tatcha Water Cream (and most likely the Peony eye cream) apply beautifully. But we love that DEEP hydration!!

Which cream would you recommend for combination skin? As most of them seem to have small amounts of harmful ingredients. I have tried Clinique Dramatically different moisturizer, Glow recipe Watermelon and Banana soufle moisturizer, Fresh rose deep hydration and now started using Tatcha water cream. Would you recommend something better?

I really enjoy the mist. I’ve heard it’s a skincare mist over a makeup mist? Who knew? Lol. I loved the water cream for my NORMAL to oily skin, but I couldn’t bring myself to repurchase at that price for a arguably standard moisturizer. The mask was fabulous for instagram pics bc of that beautiful purple color, but again didn’t blow me away. The only thing I’d run out and buy again was the mist and also because you can reuse the bottle when finished (the bottle sprays mist beautifully) 🤣

Thanks so much! I’m not so picky on price as long as the skin care product has great ingredients backed by decent research! I do spend that much on my Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair because I love the ingredients AND the experience. It’s a win win :) Thanks again for watching.

Bought this on a sad day and the soulless Sephora ladies assured me it'd be good for my skin. Makes me look like a grease bucket, feels heavy on the skin, and makes my nose/eyes itch sometimes. NOT for oily skin or combination skin. I wish I saw your video before I bought it.... My skin is so frustrating too. I'm starting to get wrinkles but my skin gets sooo oily, sensitive, acne, pinkish, and huge pores. Ugh I'm past 30 so what gives?!? :(

Thankyou Trevor, I am nearly 50 🎉 🤪 with normal to dry but Ageing !!!! Skin. I have worked in Pharmacy, sold many different brands, and been a counter manager for Kiehls and a Clarins. Like you, ive tried A lot! Of products. However, I am now a convert to Estée Lauder ANR 2, I use it often day And! Night. With a cream (L’Oreal Rose Day and Night Cream) on top or an oil at night if really dry. Plus I’m using Revolution Rose Tone, Niacinamide Clarifying Essence Spray, and their Aloe Vera and Waterlily Smoothing Mask. I think I’ve found my ideal routine for now. 💗 like you, I’m skincare obsessed. And I change according to the weather and how I feel. Love your videos xx P

I hate to love tatcha water cream. It just makes my skin feel so plump and evenly moisturized. The price though! I tried to use other products for a while, but it's my favorite day moisturizer. 🙃 Sad to hear about the mica. Yikes. 😞

Alcohol and Fragrance. A better option would be the Neutrogena hydroboost gel cream. FOR EXTRA DRY. DO NOT GET THE ORIGINAL ONE! It has fragrance and dyes.
