atsuko been a major mvp for me since i've gotten her solely for being a strong tank with heal and with a bonus of crazy evasion stat

Thanks for the insight. I have Atsuko for a long time and really wanted to max her since her kit is so useful but was hesitant since she might get outshined by future students in the future. I guess it's finally her time to shine on my team now.

Depending on who you're fighting against, there are better comps, like Iori often loses a lot against NY.Haruna. Is that an attack or defense team?

Does nutsuki still work to counter NYharuna on offense, or not as consistent as quad tank?

I use 2 tanks + Shun + S.Hanako/ Nutsuki. Iori works too.

Play around with marina & yuuka position and see if your bracket can counter it. I remember struggling a lot against that comp but your bracket might be different. I don't want to invest in Makoto jusr for that. It's either that at ny.haruna or c.kotori in my bracket.

@@LeinVansten Well there is Iori team in the top too if they realize that NY.Haruna is being countered consistently.

@@RSRainstorm I used Shun Iori Marina Yuuka S.Mash/S.Shiroko on attack for getting the rank bonuses until rank 1. I was a day late but that comp was great even with meta teams already appearing on 100ish.

@@LeinVansten I mean it's Indoor so Iori demolish everyone, except NY.Haruna because of RNG. In this season, if you have the students you can counter almost every team.

Do they have Iroha on defense as well?

@@RSRainstorm Yup, tried using 4 tanks against it but diff supp units. I just cycle through Iroha/S.Mash/Nagisa depending on what frontlines they use so the team could actually deal damage. Didn't consider using O.Nodoka though, been using S.Shiroko for the other supp slot for the skill regen. But I'll try it tomorrow.

@@LeinVansten Well for the special students it's up to you. You can use S.Shiroko + 1 more students depending on whether you can kill the enemy backlines or not. O.Nodoka can only help you win if you can take care of NY.Haruna and Shun early.

It only work against NY.Haruna or other students that focuses on AoE dmg. Rip against Iori btw.

@@RSRainstorm I started playing on December, I suppose we are going to get half of the pyroxenes we gain while climbing the ladder, currently I fluctuate between ranks 240 to 140 usually, do you think Utaha will still be relevant or this tiny space is to crowned for her turrets?

@@pythonpeanut In theory, Nagisa EX can easily take care of her. But now that you mentioned it, I didn't fight against Utaha at all this season, so no idea, honestly.

You can use Serina or Minori/Nagisa on attack if you can find a way to hit the enemy's backline.

- My Marina has always been UE30, so not sure. - For Shun as low as star possible, you can max her equipement at 4 star she sometimes she gets targeted instead of Iori. - For Nagisa not really sure, since I don't use her much. I just got her recently only.

@@RSRainstorm can you elaborate on why shun needs low star and equipment? and targeted by who exactly?

@@yon9906 If you read Shun EX skill, you'll see that she targets the enemy with the highest ATK in her range. So if you don't want your Shun be targeted by your opponent, then you should keep her star or ATK stat lower compared to your other dps. So your Shun is invisible to the enemy's Shun unless all your higher ATK units are down, like Iroha, Mika, S.Ayane, Iori, etc.

@@RSRainstorm I see, I don't really see enemy shun as a real threat but i'll keep that in mind.

I found the 3 dps team including both Iori and New Year Haruna is pretty common in my bracket back then. One another is Iori Marina Atsuko/Yuuka Shun (in some random order). Sadly, there is no one as versatile as Nagisa in term of dealing with opponent Marina & helping with survivability. You can try Minori like me (if you do have her at least 5 stars), she can miss, but if it is a hit it is an instant kill to Marina. In addition, her range is also big, if your opponent has a tank started in D3, Minori can also kill the backline instantly if her card is early. She doesn't help dealing with Atsuko, but this mode is a pure RNG fs so believe in your S.Shiroko, i guess xD S.Miyu might hit Marina many times, but her actual impact is low so whatever. Iroha is slow af, PvP is being too fast in backline killing so only use her in post-100-rank battles or if the opponent of yours is using Iroha. M.Yuzu is out of the conversation having the same range with Nagisa and cost 5. S.Ayane can be another option, but only if you can let your striker deal with Marina first because 100% people will use Marina against Yellow-type special dealers. To sum up, any Special that can deal with Marina will go top of the table as this tank is increasingly annoying in S6 esp. in defense.

In fact, the only replacements for Nagisa - even if she's too good so you can't exactly replace her, there's no one really equal - is the ones that a lot of people keeps using: Mashiro or Hibiki. Hibiki is very strong, but nowadays, seems her efficiency got down a little bit, I see majority using Mashiro as replacement for Nagisa, since she gives accuracy and a lot of damage for single target, basically a second S.Shiroko

@@scharf1112 well i settled down for Minori and its doing me quite well, been going between rank 1 and 5 since the start of season. if she hits she basically one shots everything thats not a blue tank. others in my bracket who are not on nagisa use her as well

@@ImTeyqa Well this beginning of season is always like no challenge at all, seems the "whale" people got to their ranks something around 1 to 3 weeks after season starts I've never saw someone using Minori in PvP, but probably this terrain is better for her, since the train is very narrow, she is now able to damage everyone, so yeah that's good

- For T.Yuuka that's the run at 2:31 and 4:04. Well just test what works best for you, for defense I used Minori + S.Shiroko for special. But Nagisa is probably better. Just test what works for you I guess. Maybe Serina? - I guess 3 star S.Mash works if you just need her evasion debuff. A max Tsubaki can tank UE40 S.Mashiro if she doesn't crit for reference. Though Tsubaki can't tank 2.

Mine is UE30 after the first Hiero Torment so my best advice is to check her perfomance and see if it's worth it. If she get hit by S.Shiroko, she gets one shot anyway.

I don't use ny.haruna on attack so yeah, I am not sure how good a defending shanako would do against her. But you can try I guess.

I think the only meta against NY Haruna is luck, because if you're going with dealers it's just a matter if your dealer comes first than NY Haruna EX, if not she kills everyone. So you can go with tanks + operational (Iroha, S.Ayane). I just won matches against NY Haruna when she not EX first, so all the times she doesn't, she gets insta killed. Basically not a consistent team but a painful to deal one

S.Mashiro seems lit too. Too flicking bad I only got S.Azusa :

Maybe Tsubaki can do it as well?

Mine has always been UE30 since season 4/5 so I am not sure how a 3 star Marina performs here.

​@@RSRainstorm I'm glad UE30 works fine and not needing to make them UE40+ unless you're a PvP enthusiast.

I guess Tsubaki can replace one of them, but you won't have many options. So it depends on how competitive your bracket is.

Mostly. If you don't have Nagisa at least 2 blue stars then just try to stay in top 100.

@@RSRainstorm Am currently using Shun Yuuka Iori Tsubaki s.Mashiro Iroha rn and I can stay around top 50-200, do you think I should change Yuuka to other dps for next season like ny.mutsuki or s.hoshino?

@@CryptomGaming Well running only 1 tank will risk you getting hit by Nagisa or Minori on attack. But you can test and see I guess. While S.Hoshino dmg is ok, I don't think she can survive long.

S.Shiroko + Another support of your choice. Iroha is good if your teams have problem taking out the enemies backlines. Because the defending Marina may keep pushing your teams back and not die. - Note that this team doesn't work against good single target dps like Iori.

S.Miyu has guaranteed crit dmg per. And Marina not dodging enough shots.

No Shun is fine, maybe Tsubaki will work instead of Marina?

Usually I have no problem against them if I have Iori. Unless they summon Iroha too fast, but that's just RNG issue.

That's at 3:56. It doesn't work against Iori and probably S.Hanako as well.

So what team í should build when i dont even have S.shiroko nor shun plus my Nutsuki only 3*

@@Kusanaiiz It's depending on your bracket so... just wait I guess. Building for pvp isn't always worth it in term of resources anyway if you lack a few core students. Just find someone to pair with Iori, Shun is just there for the early extra cost most of the time. S.Hanako can be good but she can be hard to use on attack against random teams.
