Respect! Over 100 years of Czech engineering excellence from Tatra, well done. I would love to know more about how the steering works - sometimes the front and rear wheels are aligned, sometimes they are opposed. How does the driver enable these different steering alignments? Could be a topic for a new video.
Very interesting indeed. I wanted to ask few questions: * what's the wheel distance between axles 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4? * what's the turning circle for this setup and one without all wheel steering? * what's the estimated additional cost of having the rear two axles steered? Thanks
Wheelbase by Tatra is available according to customer needs. Tatra chassis is like a LEGO kit. Number of wheels from 4 x 4 up to 16 x 16. Different wheelbases in the front, rear or middle. Hi..! Greetings from India. 😃🙏🏻 I just love Tatra for its unprecedented Chassi and independent air-suspension axles. 😍 It is so powerful, capable and reliable at the same time. 😎 I would like to request you to kindly make a video on Tatara Phoenix 6x6 with a compact 4-door cab (not like the cab the firefighting trucks have). Thanks in advance. I've just subscribed to your channel. 😃
@@akik007 i doubt that Leyland is better than. Tata. Those tata especially SIGNA they are powerful as fuck with world best reliable Cummins Diesel engine
New sub, just wanted to say awesome truck and wanted to say that I'm a off and on road dump truck operator and I think 🤔 this truck would make an awesome dump truck, for in the city or for off road construction sites !!!! Also for the amount of weight it can haul, and it would be a great cement mixer truck!!!! Ya lots of applications for sure,I gauss it depends on how deep ones pocket is!!!Just say'n 🥴 !!!
Is there any video about how it performs in application, all upper structure applied, crane operating. It is fascinating to see it go on flat concrete, but the real value of it is shown in the steep hills, and narrow forest roads. (It would be nice to see how much does the chassis bend under load)
I wonder why Scania, Volvo, MAN, DAF, Iveco, Renault, Mercedes-Benz etc don't have All Wheel Steering on their semi-trucks? It would be useful in tight city spaces...
Cool amazing tech. When i see tatra , i thought did Tata motors(owner- ratan tata) lauch new truck of its . But it's a Czech one after googling in. Looks like they got inspiration from front look of the truck from tata prime. Anyways great work in new chasis crab wheels i guess , good for parking. Idk about attached to trailer but yeah good work
@@rolandsuch They have cooperation with DAF. It would not be economical for Tatra to design and produce their own civil truck cabin as they do not produce such series. They have their own cabin for military/fire trucks and armored cabins with STANAG certification.
