I love roller coasters. I usually only feel pure exhilaration on a great one. Tatsu was the first roller coaster that scared the living crap out of me. Simultaneously terrifying and mind-blowingly awesome! Thanks for the vid!
OH GOD ! just by watching this i could just re-live that moment i rode Tatsu! I mean this was one of the most intense ride i've ever rode in my entire 15 years of life, i was screaming out of my lungs! & idk why but tears came and snot came pouring down >:O i was like the only one yelling "oh my god" over and over ! GOSH ! ONE OF THE BEST RIDE EVER !
Last time I went these two guys were singing over their mics. They were entertaining, and for the first time in maybe ever I didn't mind waiting for an hour listening to those guys sing.
I've ridden this tons of times, but the thing I don't like about it is the feeling you get on some of those turns and loops of where the only thing holding you in your seat is that shoulder restraint. My biggest fear is that somehow the ride will malfunction and the shoulder restraints will accidentally open up.
I have been to theme parks all over the US and I have to say, this ride is by far the best..smooth, awesome design, last inverted loops are killer. newer coasters should take note and follow the lead of Tatsu
You this ride and x2 are my favs:] right when I went on I was scared and excited at the same time but dang how I was screaming for my life the loop was amazingly awesome there's no rollorcoaster like this one!!!
i absolutly love this ride yesterday i went on it in the front(for the first time)and at night, wow a totally different experience then the middle its amazing my favorite ride
this is seriously the most amazing ride i have ever been on. its soooo smooth and doesn't really bang you around at all and the cool part is, at the end of most rides it starts to die down, this ride delivers that pretzel loop at the end followed by the twist thing. i felt like i was being carried by the talons of a dragon. hahah. i guess thats what they were going for and the succeeded.
Yes there is two stations. The ride can operate 3 trains at once. One train leaving the lift, one train entering the station and one train ready to dispatch. Its meant to help capacity, and help keep wait times low. But the way Six Flags runs Tatsu it might as well be one station operation.
Today is my B-day. I went to six flags for the first time and loved it! This is my fave ride! But it was so hard for me to hold my head up after the loop XD
LOL that freakin loop is the best in the whole park and whats funny is not many people get a chance to see that from the ground so it is totally unexpected atleast for me it was, worth the wait the ride was AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!
I still can't believe I went on this yesterday lol. Partied hard Saturday night got home at 2:45am and woke up Sunday morning went to Six Flags to recover lol. Day 3 and I'm still recovering. BEST WEEKEND EVER!!!
I'm sure they do. I used to work at Rockin' Roller Coaster at MGM Studios in Disneyworld. We got to ride it a couple of times after everyone was off of the ride and out of the park. We would turn the work lights on in the building and ride it like that.
I just got back from 6 Flags and I rode this TWICE! Once in the back and once in the front. And holy shiiiiiiit it was AWESOME! The loop like pushes you into your seat and it feels like you are flying if you're in the front. ahh. I want one.:)
I rode this ride 2 years ago.SICK. The scariest part is the lift because you are stairing at down at least 150+ feet with no floor and nothing but a harnest keeping you strapped in.
I remember I rode this when it was first released. The wait was a crazy 2.5 hours due to technical issues and people throwing up all over it, but it was totally worth it.
rode it opening day, it stopped for like 30 mins and everyone got out of line, so i got in line, waited 5 mins instead of 4 hrs haha loved it, best ride in the world
it was comfortable to me it just felt like your weight was trying to push the harness open amd you would fall out when the ride first started but when it started you forgot all about it and it felt like you were flying. Definately the best and most thrilling ride of the day
hahah my dad and i didnt even have to wait to get on here! haha the just ket us on late at nite! we were soooo lucky... i love the giant loop at the end...feels like its gunna crush your chest in!!!
crazy ride especially when you start going up and all your looking at is the 150 foot fall to your death if the seats open up other than that it was sick!!!
I like the way vekoma flyers start off better. Because instead of being facing the ground while slowly going up, they catch you off gard and before you know it your "flying" but as far as the rest of the ride layout and turns, B&M looks better.
I have been on it before ... It was my very first ride at Magic Mountain, my friend said the line gets really long and to go on it right away so we did... I had no Idea what it was until it tipped us so we were facing the ground... it felt so long when it was taking you up to the top but after that it was AMAZING!!!
Gurnne already has a flying coaster called Super Man. It is 170 feet tall with a 111 foot drop and a elevation change of 256 feet (top of the lift to the bottom of the Pretzel loop)
I went on this a week ago and the g forces were so intense on the pretzel loop. My head is still aching in pain. I AM GONNA SEW THIS PLACE FOR ALL THEY ARE WORTH!!!!!!!
went to magic mountain yesterday. waited for 45 minutes in line for tatsu. thought it was the best ride ever. that all changed once i rode X2 after waiting more than 2 hours after the park closed. X2 blew this ride out of the water
For any Brits that have watched this thinking "Air" at Alton Towers is better- it's not simple as. It is exactly the same type of roller coaster, but because in the states they don't have as strict restrictions on ride height at we do, they can build their rides much higher. This ride actually feels like you are flying because you are so high up, unlike on "Air" where you are only about 10 feet off the ground. I have a souvenir photo of this ride because it's so awesime!!!
Someone's phone was on the platform in front of the loading station when i went! haha the guy next to you sounds funny, but nice job holding onto the camera.
thanks ^^ but i was also wondering, is that going to make me pass out? cause ive been on rides that the g force is so exstreme my head and my eyesight goes black D:
