The capcom characters weren't too bad either. You actually had some characters that weren't used to being in fighting games such as Megaman Volnutt and Frank West which only added more charm to the cast as it wasn't the same options from MvC for instance
It would be nice if it did. However, Capcom would need to obtain the licenses from Tatsunoko again to port this game (or make a sequel). Tatsunoko is known to have issues with its licensing (this game was missing the Genie character due to licensing issues with that show).
@@theonewhowrotethis5681 As nice as it would be, the licenses aren't the biggest issue. The game is optimised for a specific chip used in the GameCube and Wii which is fairly awkward even to emulate. I believe some devs have said before that porting the game would require re-building the game up, and with the effort that would take, it's more likely that they'd just make a sequel instead. Unfortunately I don't think it's likely, but it'd be welcome.
I love this song. Sad that in three months I won't be able to play it online anymore even though I never was like huge on it. I'm plugging this game in today.
Still own TvC and this game kicks fucking ass it has more contrast, colour for one thing also its waaaaaaaayyyyyyy more crazier to. Played MVC3 at my friends house its a decent fighter but fucking lacks the content we was promised to top TvC and MvC2...... MVC3 isn't worth the full price but here in the UK the price has gone down by %50 lol if you can find MVC3 for half price in any country its worth it. I still prefer MVC2 CvSNK2 and TvC anyday.
Nothing much beyond suggesting that everyone who likes the US TvC music is a Nintendo fanboy (even though it's a Capcom game). Oh, and suggesting that it's a totally worthwhile venture to dump a ridiculous amount of money into getting the licensing fees for all the Tatsunoko character themes. Amazing, I know.
@ImpulseKid86 I love have mostly everyone hates or dislikes the MvC2 Soundtrack. I personally thought the snazzy Jazz and Big Band influence were amazing and fitting, especially for the stages of which they were heard. As for this soundtrack. Love it and I also agree that this is one of the best song on it. Excellent variety of music!
I'm not gonna lie baring a few exceptions like Demon Village, Daily Bugle & the Tron stage with the fireworks (I forgot the name) the soundtrack of that game has always been kinda weak.
@DarkJokerOfAmuro : Berg Katze probably, yeah. And if Phoenix, Muteking, Ingrid, and that Bunny Maid (forgot her name t_t) are getting in, maybe Speed Racer's rival could be Cody Travers. This may be stretching it, but if Hakushon Daimaou got back in, they would HAVE to put Dan in. PTX-40A's boring taunt has to be avenged.
@TheRealDanielGlior I agree. Especially when the same person who uploaded this just said the music from Mvc3 is better than this. HA! What an idiot. No, Im sorry. Thanks for uploading this song, but dont say its not as good as MvC3. Especially comparing it to a game thats half decent and sold early.
i rather have the us themes once each stage then have the cacophony of music change everytime i switch a character like in the japanese version it gets old after a while and trust me i really like the character theme just one song per stage is enough lol
@ninjaman94 who's tripping about the soundtrack in this game, because it's one of the best i've heard in a new age fighter; hell i'd even go as far as saying it's better than the SF4/ SSF4 soundtrack, but that's my opinion jg4.bei
Have you heard of something called localization fees? Considering that Capcom would've had to go and pay these for EVERY SINGLE TATSUNOKO CHARACTER'S THEME SONG, it would've costed an extra arm and leg on top of what they already had to do to even get the game released here. Dry up your tears and deal with it, weeaboo. I'm happy enough the game even came out here.
@houndoom4 Better yet, I'd rather see Megaman X too. He's probably one of the few Megaman incarnations that have yet to pop in in the starting roster. He'd do great with Zero.
why am i imagining some armor girl with lots of guns, which is battling against some wizzards or magicians in the space?... Still, this song is amazing)
@Deathjak5 Yup, I would certainly suck at creating a videogame by opting to have new music composed instead of paying the ridiculously expensive fees the Japanese record industry charges in order to have the original anime/character themes left in. Don't get me wrong, I love TvC, but it's not a game that would be selling well enough in the US to merit the cost of getting the original music in. Anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy. Do research about the Japanese record industry's policies.
@ninjaman94 I can't believe no one has thought up the obvious anwser to this problem: Burn the OST (There are links to it all over this site) and have it running while you play the game. There. No original tracks that are just SO HORRIBLE and no constant theme changes. A little brain power is all it takes. Personally, I think no Hakushon is a far greater disappointment, but MvC3 more than makes up for it, hence, I getting that instead. Toodles.
I liked the character themes from CGH, but holy fuck, the way Capcom handled them was so annoying. In X-Men vs SF. MSH vs SF and MvC, the theme would always be Player 2 at the start and then when someone got KO'd, the music would pause for a second and then the character that takes their spot's theme plays. In CGH, it changes everytime you change characters, made it really awkward sounding. I know the idea was to make everyone's theme heard, but in the end, no one hear anyone's full theme!
@RisingVictor I think that the music in MvC3 is better than this. Problem? I also think Marvel vs Capcom 3 is a better game, and CvT was only Niitsuma's way of testing out the fighting game style that would translate well to Marvel vs Capcom.
