Easily one of my favorite Tatsuro Yamashita songs, been wanting to cover it for a while. Not perfect, but I learned it by ear so I did the best I could :) Mistakes here and there, you know the drill!
I own none of the music, all rights go to Tatsuro Yamashita.

Damn man, great playing! Yamashita made some truly incredible songs, and you really nailed it with that bassline, just like the original! How long have you been playing bass? And since you have some vids about TWRP and Vulfpeck on here, may I recommend "Casiopea" and their bassist Yoshihiro Naruse to you?

Thanks so much! I have Melodies on vinyl so I listen to this song alll the time its one of my favs. I've been playing bass for like 10 years at this point. Started in high school but didn't really take it seriously til college. And yes dude Casiopea are SO good! I'm a big fan of their original bassist Tetsuo Sakurai, I'll definitely have to cover something by them soon. Any recommendations? Thanks again for watching! It means a lot!

@@bassist_matt Thats so cool man! I just picked up the bass about 4 months ago and LOVE playing it, especially basslines from Tatsu und other CityPop legends. My fav performance from Casiopea was when they played "Galactic Funk" at The Ryogoku Kokugikan Tokyo, 1985 (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AKgjOCuW_MU.html) They are just having so much fun on stage and it always gets me into a great mood. And another real gem is "Capt. Chaos & Me" by Yoshihiro Naruse (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M_rhARk6Ndk.html), most definitely worth a listen.
